Pixel Art Mastery Course: Beginner To Pixel Art Professional (Udemy.com)

The course provides a solid foundation and is well-suited for beginners. However, the later sections, especially the one on animation, are very disappointing. I expected to build an animation from scratch together, but instead, you only receive a superficial explanation. For those who want to learn the absolute basics, I can recommend this course. Those looking for advanced techniques or wanting to learn animation should look for an alternative.

So far it is a good cure, but you name something wrong, you can't see something when it is in the background because it is in the background, not the foreground, like if I hold it behind a phone, the pen doesn't show because the phone, it is behind the phone, you why of ecplanis this so badly

The course instructor was friendly and reassuring, breaking down difficult-looking projects into manageable steps. Repeating the workflow across multiple projects was useful in getting comfortable with making pixel art, so I feel confident in making my own pixel art now. I liked that there was a range of topics to learn, from making materials to animation. It was a great speed for beginners - challenging enough to keep you interested but not too hard to complete. Overall, a fab course!

Highly recommended! This course is great. The greatest thing for me first of all, Roman answers all questions and not only quickly but also in a friendly way. I never once had the feeling of asking too many questions or having to think too long about whether to ask because the feedback was always great. You can tell that he really cares about helping. You don't get that with many other courses and i think it's wonderful, thank you Roman! He also explains very well and the lessons are well paced so that you can join in straight away. There is a lot of great material to download, which often summarizes the most important things so that you can look at it again later. There are also materials to join in and lots of assets from Roman that you can use as a reference. i am very happy that i did this course! Thank you Roman :)

Vi un comentario en el que mencionaba que no le gustaba la forma de seguir las plantillas de ejercicios y como lo explicaba, pero por mi parte me pareció la mejor forma de explicar lo básico, de enseñar y de hacernos practicar que he visto en el Udemy. --------------------------------- Excellent course. I saw a comment saying they didn’t like the way the exercise templates were followed or how it was explained, but personally I thought it was the best way I’ve seen on Udemy to explain the basics, to teach, and to get us practicing.

I really loved the course. At first I was skeptical because I thought it would just be copy and paste like most videos on YouTube. But no, the teacher explains each element very well and is always there to give advice. I had never drawn or even done pixel art before this course and now I am able to do incredible things in pixel art that I would never have thought I would be able to do. I also strongly advise you to always try to create your own assets throughout the course to see if you have assimilated well the explanations. Once again the teacher is incredible, don't hesitate to ask him for feedback.

Learnt a lot. Many things were not clear to me before this course like Animation bit. How the animation works, how to do parallax inside Aseprite only without a need of any other app. But things got real clear to me. I was really expecting a in-depth process of character design will be there but that was a bit of let down. I wish if the instructor can add the in-depth character design video(may be 20 min) in how to approach characters and how to define poses etc. Overall great course.

As a new pixel artist looking to level up my skills, I really appreciated the depth and quality of this course. I spent about 30 hours over 2 months taking my time to work through all of the assignments / challenges and I felt like that pace really illustrated to me just how much thought went into the course on Roman's part. If you put the work in, I think you'll get a lot out of the course and Roman's constant encouragement in the lectures had me surprisingly sentimental/proud when I hit the last one. Thank you!

Showing how to select one color and create a palette from it (using an online free tool) was an amazing first step. After that, learning the workflow and how to apply the shades was just tremendous. It's up to each student to practice and see how far you want to take it. This course gives you all the foundation you need to get started and learn all the basics! I highly recommend it for those interested in learning how to do pixel art.

Just finished the course: I must say it's an Excellent course! Extremely clear! I enjoy every second of it. Very well explained, lots of topics were covered, and lots of practice for us to get used to aseprite software, also they included challenges in each section so we could test our skills on the project. There are also some PDFs to help us remember the basic concept, there's also a quiz for each section for us to remember what exactly we learn from this section. I was able to understand everything and start making my projects. I love how the instructor slowly introduces new techniques and adds some explanation in each section. I could understand most of it and not get overwhelmed with new information. The pace is perfect for beginners. This is an approachable training course for anyone looking to learn pixel art and Aseprite. I recommend this course to anyone who wants to freelance doing pixel art and game art. Thank you so much! Looking forward to other courses by the same instructor.
