This set of 420 Qs is designed as per the updated format of the PMP Certification Exam 2026 by the Project management Institute (PMI).
This simulator includes questions from the newly published PMBOK 8th Edition by PMI as well. Situational and scenario-based questions are at the core of the PMP certification exam. About 70-80% of the total number of questions in the PMP exam will be situational questions. Hence it is very important that you develop your skill of solving these type of questions in the context of the updated syllabus of the PMP Exam by PMI.
This question bank of 420-Q is very carefully designed by me to help you achieve that expertise in solving situational and scenario-based questions as per the new syllabus of the PMP exam. 70-80% of the questions in this simulator are situational type exactly the same as you would experience in your actual PMP exam. The rest 20-30% covers the other important areas of the new PMP exam such as: Servant Leadership, Case Study, Minimum Viable Product (MVP), Disciplined Agile, Measurement of Training Outcomes, Project Compliance etc.
Following are the top features of this practice test:

New Section 2026: PMBOK 8th Edition Knowledge Quiz
Use this self-assessment quiz to gauge where you stand before you dive right into solving PMP style questions The intent of this quiz is to explore the most basic and most important topics of PMBOK 8th Edition in light of the PMP exam so that you are aware of your gaps early in your preparation stage
Your Score: >80% - EXCELLENT
Your Score: 60-80% AVERAGE
Your Score <60% NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
The actual PMP Exam will feel much EASIER after you have practised from this set pf 420 mock questions. You may find this mock Practice Test 2 3 and 4 difficult than the actual exam and that is designed intentionally to prepare you in tough conditions so that the actual exam feels much EASIER I do not want you to practice on easy questions and be in a false sense of accomplishment I prepare you the hard way to see you SUCCESSFUL in the end.
How to make the best use of this simulator ANALYSIS is the KEY:
With the new PMP Exam Syllabus you may need to study quite a few new topics such as Servant Leadership Personality Indicators Minimum Viable Product MVP Agile/Hybrid/Predictive Measurement of Training Outcomes Project Compliance etc. Use the books recommended by PMI to build your capability on these topics Google the new terms as well for quick learning.
The passing score for this simulator is between 60-70%. But you need to know that you should not get demotivated if you score less! DO NOT take the score of this simulator as a representation of your actual PMP exam. Instead take it as an opportunity to understand your knowledge gap and work on your weak areas. I would suggest that after this 230 mins simulation you should spend at least 10 hours analyzing each every question. If you have got a question wrong check the following things:
In which domain I am making the most mistakes?
Did I answer a question incorrectly because I did not know the concept or the application of the concept?
Are there any repeat mistakes I am making?
If a question took 5 mins to solve was there a way to solve it faster?
Am I making any careless mistakes?
Is there a common trend of incorrect answers Eg Am I getting more situational-type questions wrong?
Make notes for your reference as you keep on analyzing the questions?
If you prepare like this you will be ahead of your peer group for the new format of the PMP exam prep in no time?
All the best for your PMP exam in 2026 and I hope you find this simulation useful.
Regards,
Nilotpal Ray PMP MBA

Hello Ray, Just wanted to say THANK YOU for your videos , tutorials and practice tests! I took my PMP exam on August 28th and I’m very happy to say that I passed with Above Target in all 3 domains! I watched your videos ( also on Youtube ) and practiced your tests throughout my preparation, and they really helped me a lot. Thank you

How would I know what was in earlier editions if I read only the 8th Edition. The questions (and choices) were needlessly longer and that wasted my time.

The mock exams were an excellent preparation tool for the PMP exam. The detailed explanations for every multiple-choice answer helped reinforce the material by referencing the applicable PMBOK®, PMP and Agile Practice Guide pages, along with the corresponding Exam Content Outline (ECO) domain being tested. Ray's website and YouTube channel were also outstanding resources throughout my preparation. I highly recommend any of Ray's PMP preparation courses to anyone studying for the exam.

I took the exam on Monday and received the news yesterday that I passed with an AT on the first try. I also bought the official PMI Practice Exam, but was hugely disappointed with the quality of the tool. Often, the explanations didn't match the questions, and the tool was generally very cumbersome to use. Furthermore, the actual exam was structured very differently. I highly recommend these mock exams, as they are very similar to the actual exam, which consists of 98% situational questions. I also considered these exams more difficult than the actual PMI exam. But that's exactly how it should be for learning purposes.

When reviewing the test answers I found many errors. Questions were shown as skipped that I answered, and answers were marked incorrect showing I selected a different answer. This makes review very challenging.

The course was very educative and addressed project management very practically. The scenario-based questions were very close to reality and the PMP exam. I passed my PMP exam at the first sitting, much credit to this course. I have recommended it to my friends wishing to pursue the PMP track.

I passed my PMP last week on my first try. Thank you Nilotpal to create this thoughtful question bank! However, I failed in all the mocks except one! But I analyzed all the mock questions to find my weak areas and prepared hand notes as you suggested and it worked! I was able to memories quite effectively. Almost all the questions in real exam were from another part of the world though! I guess the reason is probably no one has access to PMI real question and the last time we saw PMI question is when we appear in the exam! This and my own deep research and analysis of mock questions were my confidence point to appear in the exam even after such a close but persistence failure.

Passed my PMP exam just yesterday. Overall the formal exam is much easier then this simulation. Still thanks a lot for the exam practice, it is good for time control practice. #No MBTI question in my text - My score on this simulation : First run - 72%/53%/60%/66%/72% (As you can see it is really bad, but I get 3A in formal exam) (Hope this give you confidence :)) Second run - 82%-76%-88% (no time to finish them all)

Thanks Ray. I have studied PMP from the beginning of June this year. Aim to take and pass the PMP exam in this Nov'22. I did a lot of mock exam , attending online PMP course and subscribed also online course via Udemy. Also glad to know Ray for PMP course and guidance as well as the mock exam from Ray. Detailed explanation, it does help to enhance my PMP knowledge. I have completed all the mock exam here. I stay focus and perseverance until i pass the PMP exam. Thank you

Hi Ray, I passed the exam today. Thank you very much for this mock. I'm Japanese and can't read English, so I used this mock with translation software. In Japan, there are not many mock tests for Agile, which is very difficult, so it was very helpful for me to pass. Since most Japanese people are not good at English as I am, and since there is a high demand for PMPs, I think a Japanese translation of this mock would sell very well.
