Power BI for HR: Visualize HR data using Power BI (Udemy.com)

This course helped me build a project in the HR domain. Well explained how to start from the installation of Power BI Desktop. I also had other courses from Start-Tech Academy, and in this course, the language and terminology are accurate so you don't get lost in context because you know what the discussion and analysis are about. Although the dataset is not large, and I would appreciate showing how to handle data cleaning of large datasets in Power BI, it still teaches a lot of practical skills on how to build an interactive dashboard at the end. The feature that gives the possibility to have a conversation with an AI interviewer and getting feedback on my performance is great. I chose to have it as a voice (not typed chat), and it was eye-opening. One last remark, even though the total length of the course is 7 hours, it's just the videos, when you start exploring things that are just mentioned, but not shown, and you start playing with the visualisations and perfecting them, you will spend much more than 7 hours to complete it. And when you complete the course, you will be among the 5% of those who bought it.

It was just amazing, where I can gain practical knowledge in the course, which is clearly understandable, and thank you for the wonderful lectures.

This was a very informative session on BI. The instructors explained everything clearly and concisely, making the content easy to understand. I was able to follow along well, although I had some difficulty generating a few of the reports.

This was a excellent class. At time the instructor was going a bit fast for me but I just back up and paused as needed to ensure I was following the steps. Two minor issues to note, I could not create some of the reports for dates as I could not figure out how to correct the data in the worksheet provided. Also, on video 63 the volume was extremely low and I could not hear the instruction even with my computer speakers on the maximum level.

Thank you for the knowledge you have shared. I feel that this course has been very helpful. I have a small suggestion for improvement: you may want to check the audio quality a few times, as the sound is unclear in some videos. Once again, thank you for your knowledge. Keep up the good work.

I expected more content to be focused specifically on HR – for example, what data we should collect and use, how best to present certain types of data, and how to process them. However, this course was more about how to use Power BI in general. Since I’m a complete beginner, this was still useful to me, as I started from scratch and learned about the various functionalities Power BI offers. Still, if I had come in with some prior knowledge, there would have been very little content I wouldn’t have skipped, and it probably wouldn’t have met my expectations. The instructor was clear and easy to understand – full marks in that regard.

I like the course but the speaker talks too low then too high. I have to keep turning up my volume just to try to hear him. Then when he all of a sudden speaks up then I have to turn down my volume. The non-steady volume of his voice makes it a little frustrating.
