The content is good. I just don't like the "challenges". He states to try it by yourself, but you have look at his code which is clearly displayed on the screen. It would be better to have a slide with the ask and what the result should be, in my opinon.

The instructor is clearly spoken, in-depth, personable, and he provides lots of materials with thoughtful explanations! It seems as though he really cares not only about the subject but also about making sure those of us who take his course leave with as many skills as possible. He is highly knowledgeable himself. I am glad to have found his course!

This course taught me the fundamentals of Python. It is fast paced so will probably take review and even some refresh by repeating sections in order to successfully complete the first few Python projects to be implemented. The broad exposure at least shows the student what is capable.

The course was excellent, clearly taught for the beginner, which I am. And the instructor (Giles McMullen) used excellent teaching examples, methods and problems that inspired further learning. I am an older, learner, and can highly recommend this course to anyone interested in programming and learning coding technique.

This course needs to be more detailed and explained in depth for it is a beginner course. Also a good number of problems too could be added for practice for new and interested students
By Radu Sighencea on 4/5/2021
I took this course knowing that there are no explicit projects presented, in form of tutorials like other courses. The reason why I give 5 stars is because Giles explains through practical examples what you can do with Python. The lessons are short, on the point and easy to follow. Thank you!

I have almost completed this course. It is EXCELLENT!!! I got almost to the end and started over because there is so much information in it I wanted to take it again. I am enjoying it the second time through even more than the first!!! I HIGHLY recommend it.
By Charles McGrew on 5/22/2020
The instructor was very clear, easy to understand and he provided interesting, relevant example projects to help people learn Python. I found myself going through some sections multiple times to be sure I understood the material. I expect that I'll be revisiting sections over time as I begin working on my own Python projects. I'm already looking to see what other courses he offers.
By Daniel Lanzoni on 5/5/2020
I completed 100% all the program and I can tell that for my perspective is a course meant to be quick that take you in your first steps. Yes, is quite intensive but a balance program that show you the basics and motivates to do more research about the topics that you care or are interested more. The capstone with OpenCV is good but not my favorite thing in the program. In conclusion: This course it should not be take as a complete guide, is an introduction to python or a reinforcement of your previous basic knowledge in Python.
By Efren Martinez on 1/22/2020
So far the course is exactly what I was looking for with many exercises to help me understand and use the language better. Update:Great course. It goes a bit too fast from basics to complex, but like the instructor mentions several times, it is best that we try to figure out by doing additional research. I like that.
