As a systems engineer I can say that it is definetely a good course, I learned some useful information that back in when I was in school my teachers couldn't explain clearly, for example, how Python deals with the 'self' attribute when you call a method using an object and why it is important the 'self' keyword. I noticed there were several bad practices from the instructor and there were things that I didn't know well and I had to look for them on the internet because he didn't explain them at length, for example, Static Methods (Not a big deal, but I had to pointed them out). It's a 2.5-hour course and even though I said what I said it's worth the money.

Though the course was good, especially for how short it is, and the instructor is very engaging, I personally have a couple of critiques/suggestions: 1. The course could benefit from extending a bit with more examples that bring down to earth the concepts presented. The examples could provide further advice about how to design your OOP python code, for example, what to encapsulate in methods and what in the logic of the code. 2. The course is not for complete beginners as the course name suggests, at least not for python beginners. Although the course description does imply previous knowledge of python is a prerrequisite, I was confused about how much previous OOP and python knowledge was required. As a result I struggled at times. For reference, my experience with programming (which influence my shortcomings): 4 years of SAS programming for data manipulation and data analysis; 2 years of SQL for data access and manipulation; 1 Udemy beginners course of Python for data science. No previous courses of OOP.
