This course has been amazing. Ron is an incredible teacher and is responsive to questions. I don't even mind that it is not the same version of QBO - it just makes me develop my troubleshooting skills. I'm brand new to bookkeeping and if there was another Practice Set Course from Ron for QBO, I would get it.

I need to work from home and I have already taken the Quickbooks Basics#4 class and certification. Now I have started this. I love that we are actually practicing. After this I am hoping to start applying for work. I would recommend this for anyone just trying to learn Quick Books.

The course is good I would have given 5 stars but there were errors in the financial reports later in the course (ex. there is a double entry in keyboarding sales starting week 4 if I recall it correctly). Such errors should be fixed because they cause confusion to students. Overall though I still highly recommend the course to anyone who wants to learn bookkeeping using Quickbooks.

Course was very good at getting experience with QB. Only feed back is the data in the course sometimes didn't match. The PDF data was different from the free data resource, which was different from the instruction in the video. Suggestion would be to include something on fixing or adding new journal entries to correct mistakes. Also found the bounced check instructions in the reference difficult to follow.

This was difficult, but was the practice I needed to gain confidence. There was a lot of due diligence in setting up this practice set for us students. There are a lot of different transactions covered within Quickbooks. I felt like my familiarity greatly rose. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars, is because there were some inconsistencies between the instructions, answers and videos. But, by working through many of these on my own, I gained confidence to do it on my own, instead of only following what someone else told me. So, for that reason, this course was well worth it. It was difficult yes, but now many things are so much easier within Quickbooks because I worked through those difficulties.

I have to say I really appreciate Ron Trucks teaching style, he goes over everything very clearly and slowly enough where you don't miss anything and he intuitively knows what questions you will have and answers them in his video. I have bought tons of online courses of many kinds both very expensive and not including at least 4 delivered by Ron Trucks about bookkeeping, and he is on the top of my list for either category and so are his resources. It has been topnotch thus far for me.

I think this is an excellent way to get some useful insights into how QuickBooks online functions. The instructions are very clear on how to set up a sample company in QB online. The transactions were sometimes a little thought-provoking on how to handle them. I believe the instructor did an excellent job explaining the transactions in the videos as well as giving an overall snapshot into how to deal with a month of transactions along with the adjusting entries at the end of the month and year. Great learning experience, thank you!

I took this course after taking all the Bookkeeping Basics series, 1-4. I began having never taken any business or bookkeeping classes before, and step by step, the instructor took me through the fundamentals of bookkeeping and quickbooks in a methodical, easy to understand way. I appreciate how his teaching style allows me to retain what I have previously learned and build upon it. For me, this practice set has been invaluable to help me really get familiar and comfortable with navigating QuickBooks Online. He introduces the material, lets you try to input the bookkeeping records on your own, demonstrates what should have been done, and then has you find and correct your mistakes before you move on to the next section. The opportunity to find and figure out how to fix my mistakes has been the most valuable part of the course for me. It has been like a giant puzzle and Ron has guided me to put it all together. Now I feel prepared to take the certification exam and use QuickBooks Online in the future.

Overall, this was a good course. There were a few errors the videos which resulted in the answer sheets not matching the work produced by the instructions. It wasn't anything I couldn't figure out. The instructor did say the course is being updated. Would recommend to anyone who is new to bookkeeping or has been out of the game for a while. OR, just wanting to become more comfortable with Quickbooks.

I'll admit that I've been taking other courses on Quick Books Online, but I find this course the very best because it runs through everything as though you are already in the business of bookkeeping. For me, there is no better teacher than actually taking action and doing the work, hands on! I'm giving this five stars because the instructor is Ron Trucks, who has real-world experience in working with (and teaching) Quick Books and bookkeeping/accounting. I'll be recommending this course (and all the other courses by this instructor) to any of my friends who are interested in getting hands-on knowledge in using Quick Books Online.
