Course Description

"This course requires you to download RabbitMQ for Windows or Docker Desktop for Windows and Eclipse IDE.

If you are a Udemy Business user, please check with your employer before downloading software."

RabbitMQ is a very popular message broker. It is heavily used in microservices architectures, as a solution for asynchronous, decoupled communication/messaging problem between the services.

It is available on Windows, Linux and Mac. There are also many official Docker images that are ready to run.

RabbitMQ is easy to install, learn, configure and use. There are many official client libraries for popular programming languages. Its management web interface plugin makes learning and testing RabbitMQ even easier.

This course starts with message broker basics continues with RabbitMQ, its components and common usage scenarios. There are demo lessons for testing the RabbitMQ system using management web interface. There are also coding  lessons that demonstrates how to use RabbitMQ features from code and implement common messaging scenarios using C#. But you can also download the Java versions of the same sample projects under each coding lesson. You will see that codes are almost the same.

I think, spending a weekend studying this course will be enough to complete it and learn how to use RabbitMQ using management UI, C# and Java client libraries.

I appreciate your valuable feedbacks. Feel free share your feedbacks, recommendations and ask questions on course's questions & answers part.

C# and Java sample project source codes are added as a resource to each coding lecture. You can also find all the samples as a single file under "All Codes" section.

Current C# samples for RabbitMQ .Net client library versions 5.1.0 and 6.4.0.

Current Java samples (Maven projects) for RabbitMQ Java client library version 5.15.0.

Working as a software developer for more than 14 years I have participated in several small and medium sized projects. I am the designer and developer of some of them and participated as a developer in others. Most of my experience is in digital asset management (DAM), broadcasting and medical sectors but I have also experience in small sized MRP and ERP applications as a developer and consultant.

I have developed several applications and components in Delphi, C#, Java, C and C++.

I like both learning new things and teaching. I have already arranged in-house training sessions in the past on various software development related topics including memory management, performance optimizations, design patterns, software architectures, dependency injection, coding standards, NoSQL...

Yes, But it could be much better if it have included python related codes with its own backend - Nonetheless, I have understood the common architecture how to work irresepctive of langauge we use in coding. Thanks man. Love from India

Excellent, recommended this course to learn RabbitMQ from the basics. There are two things I would suggest: one of them is adding maybe quizzes at the end of each section, and finally add a final real-life project which implement some of the topics of this course.

It was quite useful for me as a beginner, the teacher sepaks at the right pace and it has a coherent 'narrative' throughout the course. I don't rate it as 5 stars because for me it lacks to provide us the presentations used with the schematics

Gave a good overview about RabbitMQ and its concepts - which is what I expected to take away from this course. While the lessons helped understand how to implement these concepts, they were sort of repetitive and switching from Management UI to programming the same thing brought little new. This could have been made a little more stringent. Otherwise very good course and nicely explained.

The course talks about exchanges, queues in depth with proper coding demos. There are few topics which were left untouched like virtual host, Rabbit MQ cluster, Multiple Rabbit MQ containers running and working as a cluster by sharing the key.

It is really a good starting for you looking for something related to the RabbitMQ beginner level. It doesn't matter at least is for me whether the teacher's english is good or not. You can understand based on the screens and points.

Good, concepts are clear and easy to understand, covers A LOT in only 4 hours. I did not give 5 stars because code is a little bit old fashioned, some implementations are different in the official RabbitMQ documentation (for example leveraging the "using" keyword instead of manually deleting queues/exchanges and manually closing the connection...but it does work and you can easily change it to be more modern.). Good course overall!

Well explained. A bunch of coding and GUI demos helped to reinforce the theoretical knowledge. The only missing thing is a real life usage example. I mean it could be a good idea to show Rabbitmq use case in a basic web application or something like that.

Some of the videos had poor sound quality (kind of like an echo effect) and the instructor spent a lot of time writing code where I felt he should have used code snippets and then an explanation of the snippet. Overall, I liked the course and felt the instructor was very knowledgeable.

Very well compiled and excellent tutorial ... Explained all the RabbitMq concepts in a very simple and easy to understand way ... Greatly appreciate the work done ... And lastly, many thanks for the code and demo.
