React & Django Full Stack: web app, backend API, mobile apps (Udemy.com)

It was a great course. While some arrears were challenging to follow due to the updates and new features. I find it to be good challenge as it allows you to learn how to troubleshoot and fix software problems. I can tell that the insructor knows his stuff.

It is quite hard to understand the WHY of many things that are discussed. I am having a tough time understanding many of the concepts as they are not discussed in depth. Could be a result of the course being very short but could have really benefited from the course if the concepts, some of the files or the commands were explained more than just going through the steps

Easy to follow, it's really for beginners, well sort of. I suggest after learning the fundamentals of Python and Javascript, atleast make some quick research on MVC (model view controler )frameworks. Otherwise you may end up confused, because Django framework is kinda opinionated framework, good thing you will be coding less and it works like magic :). By the way, Django more on MVT (model view temple) the MVC. Django will takes care of the Controller part , and that's for me, its a lot easier and faster to work with. P.S. : By the time of this writing AsyncStorage that used in this tutorial are now depricated. I suggest use react-native-encrypted-storage instead, but you need to use react-native cli instead expo cli. This is one of many reason why choose react-native cli over expo cli. * For some linux (ubuntu) users: I had some run time issue with Oracle Java, try OpenJDK instead.

This was a good introductory course to building and deploying apps using React with Django. I believe the course was redone, so some of the components between sections were out of date with the rest of the course. Our front end was hard-coded to use the local Django server, however in the Deploy Apps section the instructor had different files and environment settings in place to change the URL to the production URL already. There were a couple other areas that were out of date, but with a bit of extra work and searching online I was able to complete it, just a bit annoying.

The course was a good application of full stack react and react native development. The instructor was also very active in answering my questions, he would personally answer my questions just after posting my question within hours! Thanks sir it was a great course

I enjoyed this entire course and I am sure it was a good investment of time. The training was well explained with good didactic exercises. I think you can add a video about more serializers, but this is just a suggestion. This time you have five stars (as a movie rating)! Thank you, Mr. Czekalski.

The concept of the course was really smart; one section for explanation and one section for use. I took this class only to see how Django can be combined with React/React Native. I've taken multiple Django classes and I can say this course has lack of explanation, thinking on feet and not very efficient way of writing code. Overall I don't regret it for spending my money and time; I still learned something. The instructor is very nice and he tries his best and the Q&A.

Very good course to serve as an introduction to React and React Native as Frontend frameworks and Django as a Backend one. They combine smoothly and the end result serves its good purpose as a functional web/mobile app. The only thing I would add is how to handle errors while working on higher versions of some packages, like FontAwesome svg drawing on Android, which currently fails. I tried several Django courses, but this one was the best. It covers Django, Django REST Framework, and React, which is exactly the combination I needed. Krystian is an excellent teacher. I have some previous programming knowledge, but Krystian showed me several helpful tips and tricks. He is easy to understand and has some funny examples. I also like how he does some live debugging. It shows that he really knows the material and how to fix things. I really enjoyed this course and would definitely take another one from this instructor.

The course is simple and easy to understand. It covers all areas to get started with full-stack development using Django and React. Since it is recorded earlier, there could be some mismatch with the version and dependencies, but that can be sorted if you do a search.
