It was very helpful and gave me a deeper understanding about materials, lighting, and compositing. There were a few lessons that included software and plugins that I don't have and don't plan on purchasing, but overall it was very informative.

Good for introductory students and first-time users. One thing that would be very helpful to students is if the instructor could post the specs of the computer hardware and the graphics card used. I'm currently looking at the tutorial "Section 2 Materials: 16. Sub Surface Scattering" and the base material is taking a long time to render in my preview window. Obviously I need a better graphics card, but it would be great to see the hardware being used by the instructor for comparison. Or some links to hardware would be helpful.
