First, the course name is "Spark for Java Developers". It means that someone who starts this course is already a Java Developer. And this course describes Java Streams more than Spark so far. It is annoying to watch again things I already know, and these things distract me from Spark. Second, this course seems to be not too up-to-date, as it mentions Java 8 and Java 11, but the current Java version is 21

Instructor Bio
Richard has been developing software for the past 25 years and has a particular fondness for the JVM ecosystem. For the last 15 years he's delivered training courses to projects around the world, and was one of the founders of VirtualPairProgrammers.
His main field of interest is in the DevOps area, managing several large scale projects in the cloud.
