after just the first 2 videos it is clear this instructor knows how to explain things well and clearly without leaving important information out or bogging it down with so much content. clear visualization of ideas and easy to focus on his style of teaching.

This are not Death-by-PowerPoint lessons. The instructor is very clear and helpful with his explanations. I could listen to this guy all day.

I really enjoyed completing this course. The combination of clear explanations, practical demonstrations, and hands-on simulations made the learning experience very valuable. The exercises covering Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, incident management, threat hunting, data connectors, automation rules, alert policies, DLP, and audit retention gave me a much better understanding of how these technologies are used in real-world security operations. The simulations were especially helpful because they allowed me to practice the concepts instead of only learning them theoretically. I now feel much more confident navigating Microsoft security tools and understanding the responsibilities of a Security Operations Analyst. Thank you, John Christopher, for creating such a practical and well-structured course. It has been an important part of my preparation for the Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200) certification and my journey toward becoming a SOC Analyst. Highly recommended for anyone preparing for SC-200 or looking to build practical Microsoft security skills.

The course is clear, informative, and easy to follow. I like the short, simple presentation—it makes the topic easy to understand.

Just finished the SC-200 course by John Christopher on Udemy and it was excellent. The content was clear, well-structured, and very practical, making complex security concepts much easier to understand. I especially appreciated the real-world examples and hands-on approach. It’s a great resource for anyone preparing for the exam or looking to strengthen their security operations knowledge. Highly recommend!

- The value was great for the price. The course covers the content of the SC-200 if you want to use the tools, but I don't recall specifics geared towards the exam. I didn't find this was enough on its own to allow me to confidently pass the SC-200 certification. - I didn't like that screenshots of the course material are disabled. There were key slides that I'd like to capture for my notes. I'd suggest to just put a watermark on the content if you are concerned about someone sharing the content. - The sound volume on Lesson 15 was too low, but fine on other Lessons. - It would be more helpful to show real work examples, for example in section 15 rather than populating the logtype with “momma” in the KQL query use something meaningful - I give the content creator credit for updating the content as Microsoft is constantly changing its terminology. - I did like the interactive AI session at the end. That was useful. - The labs were good.

Repeatedly reminding readers that Microsoft Sentinel is available in both Azure and Defender is really annoying and time-consuming. A single mention at the beginning of the chapter, or a brief reminder, would be sufficient. Also i suggest providing some best practices would be very helpful.

Great work as always with these Microsoft Courses. I highly recommend setting up your own Azure and O365 Tenant and following along with the Videos.

I found it more informative than the course Global Knowledge has given me, which is quite suprising considering i paid 20 for this course and 2700 for Global Knowledge's course, the course summarizes the information quite well and made a lot of concepts more clear to me.

Great information. I have been using the Azure platform for over a year and this certainly provided information on areas I use often and missed certain features or more efficient ways of working. Lots of differences with the environment I use personally. My sentinel instance is found within Azure, whereas the Microsoft365/Defender sentinel area does not function.
