Good course just struggled a little bit as it did not match my learning style. Felt quite rushed in certain aspects that needed more emphasis e.g. the products and services and their subscriptions which came up more in the practice exams. The labs were an amazing addition though.

I really enjoyed the course. Even though English is not my native language, I was able to learn several key concepts that are important for the exam. The best part of the course is the practical activities, where the instructor uses a tool that looks a lot like the Azure portal. Congratulations to the instructor for your dedication to creating and keeping this content always up to date (it’s not easy to keep it updated since Microsoft keeps changing things daily, lol).

Why the videoclips are shortened at the end and we don't get to hear everything in SC-900 Fundamentals ?? I think the first chapter if I remember well. 1, 2, 3, 4. At the end of the video I don't get the chance to hear the all sentence. Right now I am on Firewall and here it's all good . I think it has something to do with MAC browser. I tried this morning from a Windows laptop and I don't have any issue . I was learning from a Macbook 2017 version . All good from Windows.

Passed with Score 725 Overall this course was quite good as an introduction to the Azure/Microsoft platform capabilities however may be lacking as a direct study guide for the exam. Better to be supplemented with reading the official Microsoft Learn material for clarity on what is testable. I have done AZ-900, AI-900, DP-900 and now SC-900, I scored 900+ for the rest but only 7xx for this one. Pros: 1. The Instructor seems extremely dedicated and has practical experience applying these skills which is nice to hear, he also seems very dedicated in educating. 2. Good Intro to platform and practical usage 3. Covers almost all of what Microsoft Learn does (Missing Priva and some eDiscovery questions that I had come up) Cons: 1. Slide quality is could use improvement, there is loads of text on some slides that could be redesigned. Also, maybe having the slides in a single pdf would be useful as a reference and to flow from one vid to the next rather than having to individually download each section. 2. Video length is sometimes quite long, but this might be a personal preference, eg. separating theory into bite sized focused concepts from practical example as it's easy to lose hold of the main purpose of the video for me at times.

The SC-900 course with SIMS was exactly what I needed to prepare for certification. The instructor’s clarity and pacing made the material easy to follow, even for someone new to Microsoft’s security, compliance, and identity framework. What I appreciated most was how the course stayed focused and practical. It gave me the confidence to pursue the SC-900 certification with a solid understanding of the key concepts—without overwhelming jargon or fluff. Highly recommended for anyone aiming to get certified and build a strong foundation in Microsoft’s security ecosystem.

Excellent course by John Christopher! I like how the videos can be short and straight to the point. Also, letting us know things to focus on even though you are speaking about a concept briefly helps to stay focused on things that matter for the course. Lastly staying consistent on how to find and utilize the concepts from the Azure/Microsoft admin, Purview portals help as well. I have now purchased your SC-300 course. Thank you :)

This is the third John Christopher course I have taken and I passed both of the other exams. There is some overlap in the video content which corresponds with overlapping exam topics. Doesn't hurt to review some of those areas or you may choose to skip ahead, either way all of the relevant areas are covered in the course. Thanks.

Really good learning. Just sometimes teacher speak very quickly, especially if there is something what he is reading from somewhere. In this case he cannot be understood well. And in the end of every lesson should be so we learned that it is doing this, it is used for... Some short resume.

I used this course in addition to Microsoft Learn (MSL) to prepare for the SC-900 exam. The contents were pretty spot on with just a few missing areas such as eDiscovery and audit solutions. Overall, still a great course to reinforce information from MSL documents. -Update on June 19, 2024- I passed this exam (944) with John's course and MSL resources. If you're a visual and interactive learner, I would strongly advise going through this course to see how these components all work together. While YouTube review offers "ok" 11th hour crams, I would much rather utilize my time to more in depth video guide on the first time around.

John has a way of teaching that really helps you to understand what you're learning. He does this through slides and simulations that really show how much he cares as an educator. Taking his course really made me feel like I was in an actual classroom learning directly from him. His explanations were never hard to understand as well as being easy to apply in your own environments. Above and beyond as a teacher in my book, enthusiastically recommended! Thank you for all your help John.
