This course is for absolute beginners. If you've never read a screenwriting book before then this will be a lot of help, but there isn't a lot of new information in here. Solid refresher. A few good exercises.

Hiya! I'd like to spend some time to say that it was a pleasure to learn more about the world of screenwriting from this course.
Initially, I felt skeptical and was planning to refund the course because of the concepts and knowledge that I might have already known. As I kept pushing, however, I discovered other concepts that seemed foreign to me (such as rewriting and the business aspect of screenwriting), making the lessons knowledgable and overall worthwhile.
That said, one thing I'd like to point out is the teaching style: it's informative for the most part, yet it wasn't exactly engaging. I felt some of the lectures in later lessons might have stretched somewhat long and that more visual examples such as a movie clip would serve much better in illustrating the point. Still, this is just my opinion; it's not entirely "damaging" for learning.
Personally, I've found the course useful for accumulating knowledge and that I had more ideas on extending my passion for writing.
