*This course use Selenium 4.x.x for framework development*
Why this course?
Do you want to learn how real automation frameworks are built using Selenium by following 50+ industry best practices?
Did you learn Selenium in the past, but still figuring out how to go about developing a framework that is Readable, Maintainable and Scalable?
Is your team struggling with implementing automation frameworks that really works?
Did you learn many bad automation practices in the past that simply doesn't work and want to unlearn all those practices?
Then you are at the right place. This course is exactly what you were looking for!
I'll take you through an exciting journey of developing Selenium automation framework from scratch using a dedicated live e-commerce practice website!
I'll teach you 50+ industry best practices to follow while developing Selenium automation frameworks.
I'll teach you about design patterns and how to efficiently use OOP concepts in the framework.
I'll show you how to integrate APIs with the automation framework and use those to skip login through UI, to set the test data and to set the application state. All of these are Selenium recommended best practices.
I'll show you how to follow Single Responsibility Principle (SRP) and Do Not Repeat Yourself principle (DRY) which are a must while developing the framework
I'm VERY RESPONSIVE in the Q&A section. I respond to queries within 24 hours. If the time zone difference is not that huge, I can respond within 3-12 hours.
We will start with the bad practices first. This is what most of us do when we first start with developing automation frameworks.
Then I'll make you unlearn all these bad practices step-by-step by implementing many of the industry best practices using LIVE coding. I'll not only explain you the "what", but also the "why" and "how" while explaining each and every concept.
By the end of this course, you are surely going to be confident enough to build Selenium automation frameworks from scratch for any live website. You are going to think like an automation lead, plan and design the automation framework, write optimized and clean code and follow good programming and automation practices.

Hi! I'm Om. I'm a Test Automation Lead who loves automating and testing software.
I've been working in Software Testing and and Test Automation for more than a decade. I love automating stuff and I'm very passionate about spreading knowledge through teaching.
Being a self learner, I know how hard it is to learn something new or to improve on skills, especially in case of test automation where in you will face a lot of challenges in finding a credible, well organized, good quality content online.
My more than a decade of experience in testing has really helped me to create the most relevant content and topics.
My Appium course is the most loved course on this platform and it has received a lot of 5 star reviews from my students.
This is the most rewarding experience and a huge motivation to create more and more courses to offer you the best learning experience possible.
I can't wait to see you inside my courses!

More exercises and tutorial videos showing how to solve them could be added so that students can check if they did the task correctly. Overall good course with a lot of knowledge

All confusion, writing code before explaining that point. Promoting only his other course for the required knowledge.
By Zoran Glumac on 10/15/2024
You should pick only one way how to do things (the best practice way) and do it from the beginning, instead of explaining multiple ways and constantly getting back and rewriting code. It is more time-consuming and confusing

I just completed your Udemy course on building Page Object Model frameworks, and I wanted to extend a big thank you for the fantastic learning experience! Your clear explanations and hands-on approach made the complex topics a breeze to understand. The insights into industry best practices, Selenium recommendations, and advanced techniques were incredibly valuable. I feel well-equipped to develop robust automation frameworks now. Kudos to you for an outstanding course!

#thankyou Thank you for the wonderful course, Omprakash Chavan. I learned a lot of things from this. Your expertise and the way of teaching are quite fantastic. I've done with many courses from UDEMY, but, no one matches the level of this. Surely, will go with your other courses as well. Thanks for the hard work you put into the course.

One of the best Selenium WebDriver courses I have seen so far, the instructor is extremely responsive to questions and goes above and beyond to help resolve issues that you encounter while setting up a framework on your own. The course covers the basics of Java , goes into design patterns , educates on bad practices of framework design and creates a framework with good practices that generates allure reports , integrates with Git/Jenkins. I have bought a bunch of courses which are over 70 or 80 hours in duration only to get dejected by the lack of time to complete the coursework , the duration of this course is 20 hours and by following the instructor , you can build a framework on your own. Thank you!

I will highly recommend this course to SDET who really want to learn good practices in depth while designing the framework from scratch. The assignments are designed in such a way so that you can apply the knowledge and gain handson experience. OmPrakash Chavan is a super brilliant teacher in udemy. I request for a detailed Cloud and Kubernetes course from you Om. Keep making videos :)
