I love creating software and teaching how to be more successful.

Currently, I work at Xing creating software for millions of people. I've worked in other big and successful companies like Softonic, Honda or Fnac creating websites, apps, designs, and software.

I really enjoy teaching people new skills so they can improve their lives.

All my life I've been surrounded by computers. As a child, my father - who was a programmer back then - introduced me to the world of computing, which marked me forever. Years later, after hours and hours in front of computers, I am dedicated to my passion: code.

I try to do my best to achieve the best result day by day.

Well, some of the videos seem a bit too 'unrehearsed,' and sometimes minor changes are made in the design without explaining the sizing and position values, etc. Likewise, sometimes some of the time is wasted in the video fiddling with settings and/or showing each and every export. I guess that's why there is fast forward button. Otherwise, good explanations and great response to Q&A.

The course is ok. Thank you for it, Adria. However, it's a bit inconsistent because the author has mixed up different topics. By watching several demos I've seen an interesting technique (circular graph) and this drove me to purchase the course. Unfortunately, this course won't give you too much of new information if you're already familiar with Sketch app at least a bit. Honestly, I rewinded forward most of videos because sometimes I felt not enough engaged (sorry, Adria) and didn't see anything new. Maybe this is because I watched this course after more advanced courses like Joseph Angelo Todaro's and Pablo Stanley's. I strongly recommend to watch these 2 courses (in the order I mentioned) to everyone who's interested in learning Sketch app faster, or after watching this course if you want to get familiar with more powerful tricks and techniques. Anyway, I appreciate your efforts, Adria. My recommendation is to improve the course with interesting tricks and better demos (like Pablo Stanley do) because those demos with non-corresponding colors and forms look a bit unprofessional (I mean red borders, plain grey squares, etc). It's always more engaging to demonstrate something interesting, even it has been made just for a demo purpose. Interesting examples will drive everyone forward in need to create beautiful designs :) No offence, these are just my suggestions :) There's always a room for improvement. Thanks again!

At this point I'm a little over half way through. Edit: Completed the course. I don't come from an illustrator or other drawing background and am very much a beginner although I have coded sites from CSS. This year I set an early goal to get better with design tools and wanted to get a better grasp on using Sketch for prototypes and UX. It is well explained with useful examples, tricks and best practices. I like that the course is kept up to date.

Firstly, I'd like to thank Adria for this course, for me it was very enlightening and easy. As a person who is trying to get into UX and UI I really appreciate it, because sketch is probably the best designing SW out there. I already mastered photoshop so It was very easy to understand the basics on which the program works as they are almost consistent with photoshop. I really appreciate the "tips & tricks" which were very useful as well as the resources he provided. Thanks again! :) P.S. The accent was refreshing and not at all an issue! ;)

The structure is a mess. The author doesn't actually run you through the app functionality, but instead cherry picks a few features with no apparent reason. Then he proceeds to show you how to make a few beginner level designs without explaining what he's doing whatsoever (which is not really a big deal because what his doing is not very interesting in the first place, but I thought this course was to learn how to USE Sketch. Not how to put together designs). If that wasn't enough, the production quality is the worse I've seen on Udemy. It feels throne together without much preparation and virtually no editing. You'll be better off reading the official documentation… A complete waste of time and money.

I was actually a regular user of sketch when I started this course but I learned a lot from Adria on how to optimise the workflow and improve the speed of the design process using sketch. Adria's knowledge of sketch is so fine grained and way the he goes about the lecture actually motivates us to learn more. Some of his pointers have really helped me in improving the workflow. For example there is a feature in sketch like you export a layer as png and drop it on a new dartboard; and then duplicate the png on the same art board which drastically reduces the file size. Another advantage is that he always updates the course with more lecture videos which adds more value to your money. One suggestion I would like to give is that he can add more lecture videos on how to creates charts and other visualisations which are not shown in 90% of the existing tutorial videos by others. Over all the course is a good value for your money. Go for it if you really want to learn more about sketch 3 tool. thanks!

I'm in the process of wrapping up the course now. The course is well thought out, and has a great outline to follow. I'm actually enrolled in several courses dealing with Sketch, but I'm using this one as the platform for gaining and mastering the fundamental skills. Trust me, the instructor has allowed me to do so by delivering such a spot on course. You'll go from basic file setup, to organization of layers, to workflow, to UI principles, icon design, splash screen creation, onboarding , etc.. Overall, excellent course! Enjoy designers! John

There were several courses to choose from but after looking at the course outline and reviews, I opted for Adria's and I am vey pleased that I did. This course is very easy to follow and gently eases you into all the features of Sketch 3. Adria really takes his time with the tools which is very helpful when picking up a new application. He covers the whole gamut of Sketch 3 including how to take your designs to HTML and CSS. I spent about a day total going through all the courses and even watching a couple over again so that I could fully grasp the concepts being taught. Normally I spend a week or so going through full courses, but this one I could not stop. Adria is very engaging and knowledgable. The one area I found most appealing was the challenges section. By the time I got to those, I was confident enough in what I had learned from Adria to do both of them from scratch, without looking at the solutions area. and on top of that, I was able to add my own ideas into the mix and put together some designs, albeit tests, that I was very pleased with. All in all, this course is excellent and I am very pleased with the training I received. I am confident in my knowledge now to really use this application to its full extent and carry my designs over into XCode and HTML/CSS.

When I started this course I was somewhat familiar with sketch having taken a course using Sketch 2, however with the upgrade to version 3 I was skeptical for 2 reasons: 1. I didn't like the workflow in the previous version 2. I was only interested in using sketch to design apps I have in mind to create myself. As time elapsed my desire to develop my skill as a designer increased and as such, I (after a long hiatus) came back to this course... I've found the course to be informative due to the helpful tips that are sprinkled throughout the course....New lectures on various topics are also introduced at regular intervals which makes the course relevant, plus Adria addresses queries students raise in the discussion section.
