Course Description
Perform simple or complex statistical calculations using Python! - You don't need to be a programmer for this :)
You are not expected to have any prior knowledge of Python. I will start with the basics. Coding exercises are provided to test your learnings.
The course not only explains, how to conduct statistical tests using Python but also explains in detail, how to perform these using a calculator (as if, it was the 1960s). This will help you in gaining the real intuition behind these tests.
Learn statistics, and apply these concepts in your workplace using Python.
The course will teach you the basic concepts related to Statistics and Data Analysis, and help you in applying these concepts. Various examples and data-sets are used to explain the application.
I will explain the basic theory first, and then I will show you how to use Python to perform these calculations.
The following areas of statistics are covered:
Descriptive Statistics - Mean, Mode, Median, Quartile, Range, Inter Quartile Range, Standard Deviation.
Data Visualization - Commonly used plots such as Histogram, Box and Whisker Plot and Scatter Plot, using the Matplotlib.pyplot and Seaborn libraries.
Probability - Basic Concepts, Permutations, Combinations
Population and Sampling - Basic concepts
Probability Distributions - Normal, Binomial and Poisson Distributions
Hypothesis Testing - One Sample and Two Samples - z Test, t-Test, F Test and Chi-Square Test
ANOVA - Perform Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) step by step doing the manual calculation and by using Python.
The Goodness of Fit and the Contingency Tables.

Great course! The instructor's detailed explanations made complex concepts easy to understand, and the examples were incredibly helpful. The resources provided were top-notch and really enhanced my learning experience. I also purchased same instructor's Probability & Statistics Practice Test w/ Solution course to complement this one, and I highly recommend!

Course content is great, but there are no replies to my questions posted. So -2 stars for unresponsiveness.

This course exactly matched me needs. After having done a couple of courses separately on Python and Statistics, doing this course provided the best union. The concepts are explained beautifully and repeated until they are etched in the memory. This is probably one of the very few courses here which I started and gladly finished :) Thank you

It is a very well structured course, very informative, and sets a very strong ground for descriptive and inferential analysis, using python libraries (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, seaborn, scipy, and statsmodel). I totally recommend it to anyone interested in the topic. Only con here is that he didnt cover the regression analysis.

This is really good course. I am looking for a course that teach statistics theory as well as practical implementation using python. Luckily I found this course, and it gave me confidence in taking decision related to tests to be performed during data analysis. I really would like to thank the faculty(who thought this course) and appreciate the faculty knowledge level. I can't say how much this course helped me in words.

I have studied medical statistics in university and have also taken other statistics courses. I can certainly say that this course was the most informative and the most clear. The lecturer is very responsible to his students and answers all questions. I am grateful to the professor for a github repo that I have: https://github.com/elipopovadev/Statistics-for-Data-Analysis-Using-Python I will use it for references when doing statistical tests. I expect a future courses for linear regression and non-parametric stats tests. This course is absolutely the best stats course using Python on the Internet! Kudos!

Not that the other courses I have taken lately were particularly bad, but this course was one of the best from all the recent courses I have taken. What was taught will save me tons and tons of time. It would have taken me much longer to piece all of the information together on my own. There is much more to learn covering this very applicable topic and Sandeep has provided a great foundation for continuing that education. I will likely go through this course a couple times to make sure I have everything down pat.

I found this course to be very useful for those who have the Analytical or Six Sigma background like me. I use excel & Minitab in my BAU a lot. As Python is free and has vast applicability so I thought to start learning about it more. I was desperately looking for a course that can help me in understanding Python exactly in a way I use excel & Minitab, and it helps me a lot. How to fetch a data file, How to read a data file, How to put filters, How to use different plots & statistical tools, etc. All such questions are explained in detail. This course won't help much those who are looking to learn Python from a development perspective. Happy & keep learning. Thanks.

We didn't talk about covariance and regression line (r -test), which could have made this course more complete. Overall, the course was good.

This course provides clear explanation of statistics concept, and provide clear and comprehensive explanation of hypothesis testing. Mr. Kumar did a good job making this course using Python, concise and precise. This is the course that I have been expecting for a long time. It is a must-have course for statistics beginners. I am expecting next that Mr. Kumar would make some more in-depth data science analysis using pandas. I gain a good fundamental from this course and other courses as well. Thank you so your great work!!!
