do not have a background in film but I have been pretty good at created whatever Come to my mind, She taught me exactly what I was Looking for, a perspective other than mine and to be honest I feel like i payed to talk to you real quick which i'm fine with. thank you and I would recommend this course to a total beginner or someone looking for a different way to see things.

The course is fine, but definitely for *very* beginners. If you've never done any editing or assembled any kind of video, you'll learn something. But if you already have even minimal experience, in my humble opinion, it's not worth it.

I've taken several courses and watched many videos on YouTube covering storytelling for video, but this course is the one that's made it click. The instructors' practical experience in storytelling and clear communication truly makes this course stand out. I was initially hesitant to enrol because of the course's relatively short length, but I'm incredibly glad that I did. I only wish that Jun would make more courses!

This was the course I was looking for to make my YouTube videos stand apart as uniquely me. The tools here are very practical. They are explained well. I made a little checklist of each tool as a reference that I will use while videoing and editing for my channel. Thanks again. Wandering Monk

This course covers all the minor details required for creating an engaging video right from story-building, editing and filming to create the final montage. I absolutely loved this course! The instructor has gone into such minor details such as doubling music clips to enhance audio, paying attention to different kinds of shots and transitions and editing a soundtrack to suit the video clips. She's right. I will never see movies the same way again! :D And I am more than excited to implement the strategies and learnings of this course in my travel vlogs and travel videos. I enjoyed this course a lot. I especially liked learning about planning videos/the story boarding process and would have liked to go a bit more in-depth with that, as it's something I would like to improve on. I liked the fact that for each assignment, the instructor also showed her own examples for guidance. I felt that this course was very wholesome and covered a lot in a short amount of time! I think the introductory video is awesome! The teaching method works really well for me, with ideas explained both by drawing and speaking. The sound quality is excellent and the pace of speaking is just right for me. This course is what I've been looking for. I bought a nice Canon camera about 5 years ago. It can take great still shots but I didn't have the courage to make videos. Now I have a new granddaughter and I'm really inspired to make videos of her growing up! Respect to the Instructor for all your work - bringing us understanding and neat techniques and best of all showing us it's possible. Now working my way through the exercises.... :))

As someone who is a photo and video enthusiast, I found the course very helpful in explaining the technical terms into layman terms and breaking down the curriculum into manageable bite-size clips. The Storyboard introduction was useful into guiding the focus of the course. The instructor's examples was beneficial in tickling one's creativity. More importantly, the course encourages one to have the confidence to sprinkle life into age-old videos! Thank you, Jun!

If you're a vlogger or if you record many video clips on your phone and want to do something with them, then you will enjoy this course. The lessons covered many of the difficulties that I’ve faced when reviewing my holiday clips and deciding what to do with them, especially stringing them into an interesting storyline or montage. The example of editing a set of raw clips was enlightening because the instructor verbalised their thought processes and broke it down into the steps mentioned in prior lessons (setting the angle, being intentional, storyboarding, capturing movement, and weaving clips together). The editing of soundtracks to lengthen or to shorten them was also cool. The instructor was very quick with the assignment feedback and gave great ideas and tips!

I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking to get better videos and photos and even filming. The course takes you behind the scenes - great insight. Step by step clear instructions, easy to follow.
