The course covered everything from the basics to more advanced topics like adding animations, callouts, and transitions. One aspect I particularly appreciated was the hands-on approach the course took. You provided numerous practical examples and exercise that allowed me to apply what I was learning. This really helped me to gain confidence in my skills and understand the software better. I now feel confident in my ability to create professional looking videos using Camtasia, and I'm exited to put my new skills to use in both my personal and professional projects. The basics of Camtasia were well explained followed by many out of the box creative uses for the software. Lots of practical projects used to take one to another level. Enjoyed very much the creative world of the author along with the techniques of editing and putting things together. Very enjoyable and enlightening.

Jewel shares very practical and useful creative use of Camtasia’s tools and problem solving approaches to some editing challenges content creators might face. Her experience is current, fresh, relevant, and like a one-on-one with the viewer. The initial courses share Camtasia basics of how to use the software and tools. The bulk of the class grows from beginner to advance application. Jewel even shares equipment used and simple video set ups that a newbie or seasoned video content creator would find helpful in saving time, money, and logistical planning. It’s a very thorough course.

Overall the course has a lot of good information about Camtasia. It could have been a great course with some planning when presenting each topic. Items and tools were often referred to as a thingie instead of their actual name. I had to max out my audio for some videos and blasted on the following video. Each of the videos could have been shorter if there had been a plan before recording. There is a lot of let's try it and see what happens approach. I hope Jewel either updates this course or creates a new course on a more current version of Camtasia.

I liked the course as it touched on almost all the options in Camtasia. But one downside was that the instructor could have provided some simple/free resources (in a Resources folder) such as, a .png or .mp4 file in every section/topic for the learner to practice instead of sourcing it from outside the course every time. Overall, I loved the course and learned a lot. Thanks!!

This was well done. The pace was a little slow for me at times. I learned quite a few tips and tricks that I will use in the future. I also learned from Jewel that I don't have to be perfectionist when I create eLearning. The course was developed using an older version of Camtasia, so I wasn't able to learn some of the latest features. All-in-all, this was a course well worth consuming. Thanks Jewel.

Halfway through I can say that I really like this course and realize it is a great value because of the information she is showing. I have used camtasia before but never with the amount of added effects she has introduced. Can't wait to finish the course and get started on my project.

This was a fantastic course full of all of the basic information necessary to use Camtasia as well as so much more information to make this a fun and exciting course to move forward with this program! There were so many added bonuses in the tutorials of this course that gave such great information and perspective on how to better use Camtasia. This course is a great resource to take and come back to when editing and using Camtasia. Jewel added so many great tutorials on extra features and was very explanatory in how to do things! This course is well worth the time and money and I highly recommend it! I did not experience any sound issues with this course.

Could be better if the sound level was higher. On my laptop, my speaker audio was on 100% and still, the sound is so low for many of the sections. The Camtasia 2018 version is used to teach this course and I have Camtasia 2020 which has somewhat different features. Following instructions is difficult sometimes due to this.

Jewel, you did an amazing job. What a fantastic and thorough tutorial. I am impressed. If I could offer any advice it would be this: Most tutorials that I have watched, which have been many, have inconsistencies in audio regarding volume levels from one lesson to the following lesson. One lesson has low volume and the next one is louder. Video instructors need to find a way to keep all the volume levels consistent for future tutorials.
