The COMPLETE guide to start mining bitcoin in the AWS Cloud (Udemy.com)

AWS cloud charge more than $700 per month. & this method of mining is not profitable. Please remove this course or many people will lose their valuable money.

It's a pretty good course, and the instructor teaches exactly what he says he will. I wish he would update it to include information about mining other cryptocurrencies besides Bitcoin, though (even just seeing one other example would make it easier to figure out in general).

Excellent presentation, great walkthrough of setting up AWS instances. Piqued my interest more in cryptocurrency and Bitcoin mining.

it was fine. There was a little misunderstanding on my part, but that was my fault. I was thinking the class would walk me thru how to set up an independent (stand-alone) BTC mining machine via AWS. As it turns out it showed how to create an AWS server that was part of a pool. I would still be interested in setting up a stand alone mining server via AWS. Thanks.

This course is very interesting and the instructor really puts cryptocurrency into context in the world using historical references and other stories to help us understand cryptocurrency.

It was very informative and I liked the course, but.... Cloud Computing looks really expensive. Is it worth your time and effort? What is the return on your investment?

I like this explanation. Sweet and short. No need to wait just follow the instruction and earn your money by mining.

There is some good info in this course, with a well structured road map for setting up one method to mine bitcoin on the cloud. Unfortunately the instructor's heavy French accent is very distracting, which makes it hard to understand what he is explaining at times. Too much time was spent on Bitcoin history and other theory, which I believe could be edited out based on the stated title of the course, which is targeted at people who already have substantial bitcoin knowledge and wish to explore the topic of cloud mining. I did like the imaginative use of visuals to assist with learning. I would have liked to see more variations on how to mine bitcoin, or other crypto-currencies, on Amazon AWS. The focus of this course was too narrow for me, and I felt it left me hanging in regards to what other possibilities can be explored, and how much money can be earned based on those possibilities. For example, wouldn't it make sense to choose an altcoin with a higher potential for appreciation in value than bitcoin and maybe less mining competition, for greater profits over time? This is the type of discussion that is completely missing from the course. The best I could give this course is 3 out of 5 stars. Overall the course is worth taking as an introduction to setting up an Amazon AWS account and preparing to mine bitcoin using only one specific approach. However, you will need to look elsewhere for broader information on possible AWS configurations, mining softwares, and profitable altcoins to consider.
