The Complete NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens) Course: Art and Tech (Udemy.com)

This course is packed with information, and I did learn quite a bit from it. I especially appreciated the depth and some of the philosophical perspectives on NFTs and blockchain. That said, the course is not very well organized and contains a fair amount of redundancy. At times, I found myself pushing through repeated material to get to the more valuable insights. In my opinion, the content could have been condensed to about half its length without losing its impact. There are also areas where topics are either glossed over or not explained clearly enough. It’s sometimes unclear who the target audience is. In some sections, the instructor assumes prior knowledge of blockchain concepts, while in others, very basic processes are explained multiple times. That inconsistency can make the learning experience feel uneven. Overall, I would recommend the course, but with patience. There are definitely worthwhile insights here, you just have to work a bit to uncover them.

I knew pretty much nothing about NFT's, and I know enough now, for which I am thankful. However, 11 hours of so much repeated content and "sales pitch"y stuff that is trying so real hard to convince me into getting myself into NFTs... If I'm here taking a course on it, believe me, I don't need the sales pitch, and much less over and over. It got hard to carry on and real old real fast. Another example: if I wanted a beginners Photoshop course, I'd buy it, but I had to swallow it through it here, if I wanted my certificate, that is. Guys, you can edit and remove well over half, maybe even 3/4ths of the content and would become so much better, probably even brilliant. Seriously.

First of all I’d like to say that course is good but a little messy. First of all the information about NFT is not in the correct order and actually I didn’t learn anything new from it. The information is repeated several times which is actually inappropriate. Better if this time is used how to sell NFTs. The information should be relevant, from the beginners level heading to advanced. As there are a lot of technical info which is actually not necessary for artists

I felt like some additional information was missing from the development part - I understand it was optional, however a couple more lessons would've sufficed. Also the code part didn't run for me so I had to start from the beginning and go through the readme which was super helpful afterwards. Perhaps just some of the basic functions could be covered and making sure there's also some instructions for Windows users - homebrew is not available for them. Otherwise great course, my next one will be the development one actually from zero to hero.

My review: If you really care about making any of these Udemy courses MUCH better, EDIT the transcript to correct the thousands of errors done by machine, and make sure the vital words/terms, definitions, acronyms, URLs etc. are spelled correctly in order for the student to research what is being referred to. When I first began the course, I realized I needed to check the transcript to see exactly what Clarian was saying because a lot of the material hinges on exact spelling and acronyms etc. That led me to copying each section’s transcript and editing it for my future reference (161 pages with 8 pages of TOC). What I found, many times, I had to guess at what he was saying and then do a Google search to determine exactly what the topic/word/acronym was. This took a lot of time, often unnecessary time. Enunciation could improve, especially on vital acronyms, websites and specific terms. Also, technically, the volume often was very low and there was no consistency in volume.

I was skeptical at the begining, didnt know what to expect, but as I started watching each section, I felt I was just getting sucked in with all the amazing new information given to me. I came in knowing nothing at all about creating NFTs. I heard about MetaMask and OpenSea but was unaware of other marketplaces, and no knowlege how to create, buy or sell. This course gave me all that exposure. I feel very comfortable with everything i learnt in this course, & highly recommend it to anyone starting out.

Well, I learned many things about NFTs, it was quite fun and interesting, still I'm not fully satisfied. One of the points I wanted to learn about NFTs were about the Smart Contracts, wich give functionalities to NFTs so I wanted to get to the technical side. "Code a basic NFT contract" was part of the description and it was one of the reasons I chose this course. Yet it wasn't the good course for that, as this topic came with very little explanations. Happily, it helped me finding this free and amazing resource: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M576WGiDBdQ where I hope I will find what I seek. This course was mostly about minting and selling on a marketplace, wich is fine yet there was no need to explain it five times.

Don't think the course should have been called "The complete NFT course: Art & Tech". Feel like "Introduction to NFT for Artists" would have been more appropriate. There is hardly any technical content. Additionally, the content could have been compressed to a series of blog posts or YouTube series. It mostly gives you a short tutorial of MetaMask and OpenSea, which is not that hard if you are comfortable using the internet... lacking real depth

The course delivered on my expectations for creating NFTs. The sequencing of some videos seems out of order - but stick with it, the info does come together by the end of each section. Iwasn't expecting the inclusion of coding your own smart contracts... but this content is not worth doing. The code is displayed, and can be re-types... but there ois not a good explanation about why it is being done, or what options are in there. This optional section is probably better skipped by most people.
