The course was extremely thorough and I loved the insights into how things work under the hood, how databases are created and structured and how they operate. The exercises are extremely useful and the explanations are clear, useful and insightful. I did the course using PostgreSQL and it was still very easy to follow. I would highly recommend it!

Best SQL Course for Beginners to Advanced Learners! Teaching Style & Clarity: This is one of the best SQL courses I have ever come across. Each topic is explained with exceptional clarity, and the use of sketches makes it easy to visually understand complex concepts. Baraa’s teaching style is beyond amazing—concise, engaging, and very effective. Course Structure: The course is thoughtfully divided into basic, intermediate, and advanced levels. Every section is crisp, clear, and well‑organized, ensuring a smooth learning progression from fundamentals to advanced topics. Hands‑on Project Work: A standout feature is the complete project built using Medallion architecture, which covers: SQL data exploration Advanced SQL analytics project Understanding the data journey: from source → raw load → transformations → reporting This practical approach bridges theory with real‑world application, making the learning experience highly valuable. Strong Endorsement: I highly recommend this course to anyone starting SQL from scratch. It not only builds strong fundamentals but also equips learners with advanced skills and project experience that are directly applicable in real‑world scenarios.

It's a great course, and Baraa is beyond amazing. When I go to Germany, I am buying this man a cup of coffee and a nice steak. Truly an exceptional teacher; his calm demeanor really helps you understand complex problems easily. My only feedback is that in some parts of the early chapter he uses some functions that aren't fully explained till much later, leaving me with "huh, what was that," but other than that, exceptional teacher and course. PS that doesn't interfere with the learning; it's just me and my learning habits. All in all, great course, made better because of the teacher. Hats off to you good sir, it was a pleasure learning from you

I am rating this course even before I complete the first chapter because I can tell where it's going lol. I know this will surely be one of the best courses I have ever taken. Baraa is a really good instructor and it doesn't have to take me the full course to tell. Well, the first part of my review was done the moment I started the course. I am adding to this review after going halfway through the course. It turns out I was correct. This course is indeed one of the best courses I have taken. Baraa is a really good instructor. Definitely can't wait to complete the course to absorb all the content. The only thing missing is exercises to practice and reinforce the concepts. However, I was able to use ChatGPT to come up with exercises based on concepts learned.

At first this teacher, Baraa is one of the best ones I've heard and watched on udemy. Although I did not do a lot of courses but till now he is. Additionaly he looks very friendly and pationate about what he is teaching. But why not 5 stars? Here are my reasons. 1. This course can be found on you ube on the teachers channel, at least it looks the same so if you pay for it well... 2. Sometimes there is a subject that is later but Baraa is using iot like it was already done 3. The analyst projet. What I'm missing is very slowly explaining how he is gatheriong information to selct the taskk are big at tleast the last ones and I don't have the feeling I know what's going on. I mean the cte' and everything but what's the logic behind it. This is definetly obboius to him but not to me To sum up this is a great sql course, very good explanations untill you get to the 25th chapter and above, from here it get's tricky :)

This is the best SQL course you can easily find on the internet. The tutor divulged everything to the simplest form possible, such that even a 12 year old with little computer literacy would grasp key concepts easily. You are not just learning in theory, you’re as well practicing with real-world data scenarios. Started this course with little or no SQL experience, but with efforts and practice, I’ve tremendously improved and ready to unlock my next chapter. Thanks to the tutor for curating such masterpiece.

I will break down my evaluation into three parts. First, the SQL course itself; second, the instructor; and finally, the course resources. This SQL bootcamp covers all the topics needed in the real world by data professionals. It is divided into three sections: basic, intermediate, and advanced. All topics are well explained, from theory to practice. Additionally, this course features three phenomenal projects: building a complete data warehouse using the medallion architecture, SQL data exploration, and advanced SQL analytics. The only thing I felt was missing were practice questions. However, the instructor provided tasks to complete during the course, so I collected and organized them for weekly reviews to keep my skills sharp. The success of this course is due to the instructor's extensive experience. Baraa is by far one of the most complete professionals in data engineering and does an excellent job explaining hard topics in a simple, elegant, and at times, truly inspiring way. It is clear that this course was carefully prepared and organized. All lectures feature visual explanations, and the materials are available for download. In addition, you can reach out to the instructor with any questions during the course. Today, I am pursuing my career in analytics engineering in Brazil, and I can confidently say that this SQL bootcamp is the best course I have taken in 2026. I completed it in three months, and I can assure you it will not disappoint. It provides an unfair advantage to anyone who wants to land a data job. Honestly, to express how great this course is and the impact it has had on me, I would have to invent new words. Thank you, Baraa!

It's a good course, my only complaint so far is that it is obvious that the instructor has changed the order of some of the sections because there are frequent references to material that hasn't been covered yet along with references to covering a subject later that has already been covered. This isn't usually a big issue, because each lesson usually stands reasonably well alone, but it is noticeable and can occasionally be confusing.

Very enjoyable course. Baraa is very nice and explains everything with great detail. It might sound a bit odd, but he makes a few witty jokes and edits here and there and I like it. Makes the data concepts a bit less cold to me. I also was very surprised by how complete this course is. I want to get into data analytics but I ended up learning about data engineering as well. This could be very useful in the future. The projects in the end were useful and a nice thing to put on the resume to show I understand the concepts well. The only point of improvement/suggestion that I have, are a few smaller projects or tests to make sure I understand a concept fully before moving on to the next. This way, I feel I close a chapter with confidence.
