I enjoyed this course and understand the many variations one's personal lab can have. While, I admit, using Linux for a few years I have not developed the same skill set I have with Windows. Until my skills are on the same level with Windows, I will always have that unknown aspect, and the unknown is the things I don't know are what I don't know. How do you begin searching for things when you don't know what you are searching for. That said, I dove into Docker, breaking my own Plex media server and then running it in a docker container. It is surprising how you can quite honestly back up a single folder, if setup correctly and bring down, spin up something with identical outcomes each time. Now, this brings me to reverse proxy. I still feel that there is a disconnect, somewhere. I don't know where or how to describe this. There are so many different reverse proxies available for Docker and is a bit overwhelming. I have an idea how they work and from my best summation, they're purpose is for securing websites, self-hosted. My problem is, if security is the defacto configuation for self-hosting, why isn't this then the primary focus. Setup Traefik, configure it in such a way that we build it to where we can literally add new services. In that vein, go into detail of best practices and use cases for doing so. I.e. should we have different folders for each application? Or, should we build one docker-compose file with all the desired applications? How do we specifically and from scratch configure a dynamic instance. How do we then connect other apps after we spin up Traefik? I feel that there is some concepts either I have missed or I am still at square one. The course has a lot of good material and I will continue to evaluate my ratings as my knowledge with Docker grows.

This is currently, hands down, the best course on the topic on udemy. This does not mean that this course cannot be improved. I've found some of the initial lectures to be broekn with the code examples which may lead some to give up. Also, the course focuses on the docker ecosystem and the majority of the viewers will care for an update, an expansion on using traefik in k8s and some more advanced topics which are not covered and the course does feel it could get more advanced. I would still definitely recommend this!

Nice content and concise... Only issues are the changing audio levels between video segments, they go up and down and I have to constantly change the volume on my PC. Second issue is having the Instructor's Video portrait on the lower-left side of the screen, obscuring the commands he's putting in the terminal. I don't mind the picture, but it would be better located on the bottom-right, no obscuring the terminal window and the commands he's doing.

I think the course was put together very well. The problem I have with this course it is really just touches Docker provider. I think the name of this course should be renamed to something else. Maybe "The complete Docker Traefik Training Course" would be more suited. The contents seem very relevant and up to date for Docker. It is well presented. The confusing part of this course is when you look at the Traefik online documentation you cannot really bring the two together. It seems that the online documentation is solely done using the File provider, of which here was absolutely no examples given. I paid a lot for this course. The most expensive one I ever bought from Udemy and I can really only use maybe 50% of the contents. You should have mentioned that it is solely for Docker. I feel you need to revamp the course and give the learners their moneys worth.

The course was awesome. I can really appreciate the fact that Mr. Christner used the documentation as the syllabus and not only went through and taught it THOROUGHLY, but gave and explained templates and working models for every possible aspect. VERY much appreciated. literally the best for my money spent... ever .. and would definitely mention that I was pleasantly surprised with how much traefik can really do.. Will definitely be a part of this time for the forseeable future! Thanks again Coach! God Bless!

Amazing course Brian. This is a good course for Traefik with Docker and Docker Swarm. It helps me to learn Traefik which seems a little bit hard reading the docs. Now i'm able to understand Traefik and its documentation. Now i'm deploying my new web application using Traefik following all best configuration settings with Traefik. Also, Brian answers all questions with in time.

The course goes through all the essential parts, so you'll have no problems understanding what Traefik actually does and what components it uses to achieve that. The author also walks you through the setup process of a number of swarm deployments starting with very simple ones, while gradually advancing to more advanced setups, so you'll have no problems understanding the basics. Of course, this course will not teach you all the nitty-gritty stuff, so expect to stop the videos here and there to browse the online documentation for clarification. It is not as comprehensive as it could've been, but as the author states, more topics will be added in the future, so we'll see.

Excelente desarrollo del curso, laboratorios bien diseñados y con un correcto funcionamiento. Recomendable para introducirse rápidamente en el mundo de Traefik. Excelent course development, labs are good designed and all works fine. If you need to introduce in Traefik world this is a very good course. Congrutalions Brian, I have learned a lot of Traefik very quickly, you have to do the second part .

I loved Brian's approach towards teaching the Traefik coursework. He has covered Traefik training very extensively. It was an immersive experience. Well crafted course design, gives you balance between theory and hands-on lab sessions. I would recommend this as a must for the prospective Docker Captains and the DevOps engineers ! Other best things about the course : - Brian responded quickly to the queries. - Easy to understand language - Coverage beyond Traefik ( Grafanna, Prometheus ) - YAML templates for every section. These came as a big relief. Keeps your focus on learning.

Before this course, I had never heard of Traefik. So I was excited to learn about something completely new. Brian does a great job of breaking things down into easy to understand, digestable sections that hold your attention. I throughly enjoyed getting my hands dirty with Traefik in the course's hands-on labs. By using real-world examples, everything that Brian teaches you in the lectures is reinforced in these labs. The course includes all the source code used in the labs, helpful links to further extend your knowledge about Traefik, as well as advanced tips so you can get started on the right foot. The Traefik Training course has given me a solid understanding on how to deploy, configure, and maintain Traefik. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning, or even curious about Traefik.
