I found Ed from his youtube channel and loved his teaching way. I think he is one of the several teachers that teaches differently from general ones and this is great. His jokes and resources that i didn't know until i finish this course kept me up and didn't let me get bored. Thanks for putting this amazing course on Udemy so me as a Turkish developer could easily afford it and got your amazing teachings. I am hoping to see react&redux and js animations courses on here so i can study them too. Now let's go with Javascript one! :)

4 stars - on the SCSS section it was somewhat more difficult to follow and I felt that the speed of explanation somehow accelerated -- I guess I spent about the same time of listening, coding along and trying to figure out all the quick "and here and there" as I spent on the first two projects. Bottom-line: speak slower, click slower, code slower and repeat the steps taken over-and-over; good learning takeaway, of course, was the flex 1 1 BASIS to adjust responsiveness

A very good course. A fantastic amount of information and good tips. Ed's presentation is enthusiastic, upbeat and positive. He's not afraid to record mistakes then show corrections which is an example to us all. I found the pace was often too fast, he made me work however the Udemy browser display allowed me to rewind then continue. The course is recommended as a beginner course but it is really an intermediate level. I'd feel sorry for any beginner who tries this. In all though, very good indeed and enjoyable. Thanks, John W. what I love about this course that its not long like 20 or 30 hours, at same time it didn't compromise content and all css essentials are covered like HTML CSS foundations, Flexbox, grid, sass, responsive design..this is the best course I found with short duration around 11 hours and great content, and the 3 website projects I loved it too..this courses can give you confidence about the essential css tools needed to build any website, also when the instructor starting build a website from scratch, he shows all the process without jumping on solutions and you get to see how there is a possibility to make error and how to fix it...thanks Ed, really appreciate :)

Going in I did not know much about HTML and CSS, so this was a good way to get up and running. The instructor has a good eye for design, which means that the first websites you are creating feel like real world websites. I wish there were a few more challenges. There are competitor websites which I feel aren't as good as Udemy, but what they do have is lots of challenges. Personally I find that these help me focus more rather than just following someone else code. Just a personal preference.

Great course, but its definitely not for complete beginners. but i learned so much. I would advise anyone who is serious about learning web design to take this course. however, I would take a beginner course first, i took 3 beginner courses prior to taking this course and there were many things that were brand new to me. also some things you will learn, he wont go into deep detail about them, but he goes into enough detail that you get a good idea of whats going on and can get a complete grasp on it with a quick google search. Great course, highly recommended.

Hay Ed, "Why you do this..." this course is exactly what i need. I`m 31 years and this will be my last course because I think there is no need more than this course to start a career(off-course and your JS course ;) )After all videos after all projects...now should go on with JS. Your course is perfect on time with latest technologies and I think this is enough for basic HTML and CSS knowledge. Of course everyone has to start practicing because this is the way that has to be done. Thank you again Ed.

The first half of the course went perfectly, everything was explained in detail. In your next courses, I would like you to explain / remind what this or that element in your code is for. Anyway thank you!

I found this course very enjoyable and didactic. The project oriented aproach makes it easier to focus and more interesting. The instructor explains things nicely and manages to keep it engaging. I would have like more sass, but as an introduction it was perfect. I followed the instructor on his youtube channel and I am very happy I bought this course, and his other course on JavaScript (which I will start soon). And if he ever does another course on web design and figma I would totally buy that too. I am very thankful to the instructor for deciding to create this course. It has helped me a lot and all in all it has been a very rewarding experience. Totally reccomended!

I had a good time with this course, I think it ran way too fast sometimes but actually I learn what I needed. 1 point that I was disappointed is that the Q&A support section is not that active it kinda bad. thank you!
