Our take
Based on the ratings of 1,679 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in September 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.
Martin Voelk's course is a long, hands-on tour of attacking AI and LLM apps. It follows the OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and the newer list for agentic applications, then moves into jailbreaking, AI browsers, coding agents, MCP servers and multimodal attacks. The syllabus shows 498 lectures and about 42 hours, with a long tail of optional CTF walkthroughs. It fits pentesters and bug hunters moving into AI targets best, even though the listing also welcomes beginners.
Reviewers like the practical demos, the mix of theory and lab solutions, and the way Martin explains his thinking as he goes. Of 1,679 ratings, 858 are five stars and 630 are four. The complaints are consistent, though. Some say the course feels disorganized, with topics repeated and video titles that don't match the content. Others mention dated material, services that no longer exist, patchy audio and padding. One reviewer says it could be cut by half, and another hit playback glitches and a silent lecture.
The course was last updated in September 2026, which matters in a field where labs get pulled and models change. Martin says openly that some labs may vanish and some techniques may need tuning. If you already know the basics of web security and want a broad, practical catalogue of AI attacks, this fits well. If you want a polished, linear path, look elsewhere.
Pros
- Covers the OWASP LLM and Agentic Top 10s, then jailbreaks, MCP, AI browsers and coding agents
- Reviewers like the real-world demos and seeing Martin explain his thought process
- Updated September 2026, with walkthroughs for PortSwigger, Finbot and many CTFs
- Theory for each vulnerability, not just lab solutions, according to reviewers
Cons
- Reviewers report repeated topics, loose ordering and video titles that don't match the content
- Some material is dated and a few services shown in the videos no longer exist
- Audio and playback complaints, and one reviewer calls it padded by about half
Martin did a great job with the concepts covered in this course! I want to double tap the 5 stars because of the real world testing tools and examples.
Billed as all levels, but it suits people who know web basics. Experienced hackers may find some demos light.
What you will learn
- Find and exploit prompt injection: direct, indirect, hidden/obfuscated, memory abuse, and data exfiltration
- Attack AI agents and tool use: unwanted actions, delayed tools, excessive agency, and agent kill chains
- Test MCP servers and plugins: tool poisoning, path issues, auth bypass, and malicious MCP setups
- Break AI browsers and coding agents (Claude, Copilot, Cursor-style tools, Antigravity, and similar)
- Jailbreak modern models and leak system prompts across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and others
- Cover OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and OWASP Top 10 for Agentic Applications with theory plus hands-on labs
- Practice on real labs and CTFs (PortSwigger, Finbot, Gandalf, Wraith, AIPWN, and many more)
- Use AI red-team tooling such as Garak, Promptmap, MCP scanners, Leakhub, and related utilities
- Abuse multimodal and supply-chain paths: image/audio/video injection, embeddings, and model/data risks
- Build offensive skills for AI/LLM penetration testing, red teaming, and bug bounty work

Course Description
The Ultimate AI/LLM Penetration Testing Course
Your instructor is Martin Voelk, a cybersecurity veteran with 27 years of experience. Martin holds AIRTP+, multiple SecOps certifications including the AI certifications, CISSP, OSCP, OSWP, PortSwigger BSCP, and Cisco CCIE. He works at a startup and hunts bugs in bug bounty programs, where he has found thousands of critical and high-severity vulnerabilities.
This course mixes short theory with hands-on labs so you can find and exploit vulnerabilities in AI and LLM apps. It follows the OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and the OWASP Top 10 for Agentic Applications. Videos are practical and easy to follow along.

Notes & Disclaimer
I keep this course updated, but it will not always include every new AI bug the day it appears.
Some students want older CTFs removed; others want them kept. All CTF walkthroughs sit after Tooling and are optional — watch all, some, or none.
Most labs are free online. I don't control if owners take them down. If a lab disappears, the methods still apply to other labs and real targets you are allowed to test.
LLM providers change models often. Many techniques still work; some may need tuning later.
Use this only on systems you own or have clear permission to test. No unauthorized or malicious use.

Sehr zufrieden mit der Vielfalt an Informationen und Praxisbeispielen. Was etwas schade ist: viele Lektionen blieben "hängen" (Wiedergabefehler) und einmal hatte komplett der Ton gefehlt.
By Tanish Chhabra on 6/6/2026
The course is really comprehensive and covers everything. It doesn't just contains solutions to labs (which I expected it to have) but also covers the theory regarding each vulnerability. This combination of theory and practical makes it an all-rounder course for gaining mastery on the topic.
By Rene Wilmes on 2/16/2026
The course was very interesting and the instructor is highly knowledgable. He even demonstrated a couple of practical exercises and explaiend his thought process, which I found incredebly helpful as well.
By Celine Blandin on 1/30/2026
An outstanding and very comprehensive course, packed with hands-on demos and realistic attack scenarios. It dives deep into AI/LLM/ML penetration testing with concrete examples, showing how vulnerabilities are actually exploited and tested in real systems. Far beyond theory, this course provides practical techniques, tooling, and a true attacker-mindset that is directly applicable to real-world AI security and Red Team work.

very much theoretical and not understanding as well as neither updated nor getting refund
By Nick Review on 12/31/2025
Overall, the course content is solid and provides many useful learning resources, including CTF labs, external websites, and GitHub repositories. However, the material would benefit from better organization, as links and resources are scattered throughout the content rather than centralized. Additionally, there are some inaccuracies in the slides (for example, section 6, chapter 79, it says improper output handling is LLM02 when it should be LLM05) I feel that the Intro sections/theory sections can be merged into one lesson as there is redundant material covered in both sections. Consolidating all referenced resources into a single downloadable package per chapter would also greatly improve usability as well.

This was a fascinating course, and I'd recommend it to anyone. Martin is a fantastic teacher! He has a gift for explaining each step perfectly and makes complex topics seem simple. I highly recommend this course to everyone!
By Nathan Dee on 6/4/2025
This course was very informative. I feel there was repetition in parts which may have lengthened out the course more than it needed to be but this also helped send home important points.
By Dr. Erlijn van Genuchten on 2/26/2025
I loved this course. I not only enjoyed doing it but also enjoyed doing the practical exercises to tests the knowledge and skills I obtained in the course. I have many years of penetration testing experience, which helped a lot to get the concepts quickly, but it was also all very well explained which helped even more. I was also able to do the final tests without cheating based on the course. Thanks a lot Martin!
By Paul on 2/7/2025
Martin has managed to structure the information about penetration testing AI. For this course the information is enough to understand and make a clear picture about the topic without being overburden or boring because it is too much. I really enjoyed the truth behind the curtains, when he mentions that this took me half a day or you need to repeat the prompt sometimes. I highly appreciate the number of resources he shared and playground to sharpen my skills. Thank you Martin, hope this message reach you to :)
