While it may aim to cater to both beginners and experts, the reality is that beginners will waste their time and experts will learn nothing. I work in finance, and the standard of rigor in this course is light-years away from reality.

I’ve found this course surprisingly valuable. It provides a very structured way of thinking about governance, risk, compliance, controls, accountability and risk-based decision making, even outside of traditional cybersecurity roles. For anyone working in insurance — whether in claims, underwriting, risk, compliance, business analysis, project delivery or leadership — it helps you understand how organisations identify risk, assess controls, document decisions and maintain compliance in a disciplined way. The only thing negative about this course is that I cannot get the image of Fix It Felix (from the movie Wreckit Ralp) out of my mind because the presenter sounds exactly like him;-)
