Training for the SnowPro Associate: Platform Certification (Udemy.com)

This is a very good course that helped me clear my certification. The best part I liked about this course is that every video is clearly linked to a learning outcome as per the study Guide. The only thing is that I felt the practice exams were more difficult than the actual exam although that might be the intention of the course creator.

A very comprehensive course to revise key fundamentals before attempting the exam. Thanks to this course, I passed with a score of 975!

Excellent course, it helped me pass the certification. Please focus on the SQL aspects of copy into, grant, revoke, and flatten function taught in the course as they are the tricky bits in the actual exam. The rest of the questions can be easily answered as they are tested in the two mock exams.

The course helped me deepen my understanding not only through explanations of concepts but also by actually running SQL queries and seeing the results. That hands-on approach was especially valuable. One downside for me was that the lectures are not available in my native language (Japanese). While subtitles are provided, I sometimes found certain nuances difficult to fully grasp, so I often had to pause and look things up on my own. That said, this process may have also contributed to strengthening my skills. I took both sets of practice exams twice. On my first attempt, my score was below 50%, but after carefully reviewing my mistakes, I was able to achieve over 90% on the second attempt. With that confidence, I took the official exam and passed with a score of 85%. I personally felt that the practice exams were slightly more difficult than the actual certification exam, so if you thoroughly work through the practice exams, the real exam will feel much easier.

Great course, with great explanations on what to focus on. The practice exams were a lot harder than the real exam, which is good because it gives you better knowledge and confidence and you can breeze through the exam. Passed the exam with high marks!

This course feels like a very generalized info dump. Not necessarily a bad thing but just keep your expectations low. You can expect to learn, but you'll have to work harder than the creator did on the production. It would be helpful to have some sort of pop-up or interactions with what's being shown on screen aside from highlighting or pointing with the mouse. The content is fine. I think the net is cast wide and if you can pay attention, sitting for the open book exam won't be an issue in terms of passing. If you're looking for more guided or structured education that directs you through to the topics covered on the exam, I don't know if you'll be able to find that anywhere. It's an entry level cert... TLDR: Good course if you get it as part of the subscription plan. Wouldn't pay $14.99 for this. Cristian - you are so sensitive to feedback. LOL.

The code examples were excellent and the lectures covered most of the content that I could find (w.r.t. chat gpt etc); I would have liked for less short forms and acronyms in the slides, as they were not as easy to decipher.

Good preparation for the exam which allowed me to pass it easily. There was a lot of time spent on topics that had a low weighting for the exam, however this didn't bother me as I was keen to expand my knowledge of Snowflake.

I find this course to be excellent on this topic. It's well organized, presented, and the instructor clearly knows the material. The instructor engages with many tests as a practice which I like. I highly recommend it! This has provided me an excellent, structured, and realistic way to study for this exam. I found the videos to be cleanly presented and easy to understand. I liked how he paints a good picture of the exam flow as well so you know what it's like.

I am not sure if it is because I was watching the video with a small tablet, but at one point the speaker was referring to something with his mouse that was off the screen. Otherwise the pace was good and well explained. Another point: It would be good if the speaker did not name his worksheet or notebook with generic names like "notebook" because I am never sure if I am looking at his notebook or something that is built-in. Something like "MyNotebook" or "Worksheet1" would be preferred. Just my 2c
