I recently completed this Affinity Designer 2 course on iPad, and I couldn’t be happier! The instructor’s explanations were clear and detailed, and the small projects throughout the course were both engaging and highly educational. I’ve gained a solid understanding and feel much more confident in my skills now. Highly recommend this course to anyone looking to master Affinity Designer 2!

This course is great if you are planning to use Affinity Designer 2 on the iPad. I took both PC and iPad courses mainly to get familiar with each, and porting over knowledge from the PC course helped make transferring my skills over easier. Overall, the instructor did a great job covering all bases of the course for gestures, shortcuts, and advanced-level tools.

Jon Silva has clearly gone to a fair bit of effort putting this together thoughtfully and has a positive and enthusiastic vibe. Very Helpful tips and good demonstrations. Sometimes a keen/quick eye is needed, or maybe I’m a bit slow but all in all beneficial and worth doing.

Above my expectations!, I follow John Silva for a couple of months and I learned a lot from the beggining at his Youtube channel, then Udemy, I'm planning to continue with his Blender journey and soon the Vectorizeclub, recommended course for digital vector art!

I wanted to love this course but was disappointed for a few reasons. Before I list my reasons, if you are a complete beginner then you should ignore this and purchase this course. If you have the basics covered then please read on. The course is broken out by beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. However, I would classify the entire series as beginner level. I did get a few good take-aways but still felt it was missing a lot. It would have been nice to dive deeper into Jhon’s style and workflow on a more complicated piece. Jhon has great energy and I hope he updates this course with a few more advanced sections. I am not refunding this course in hopes of future updates & to support Jhon.

I love working on a project step by step. the camera is adorable and I am learning so much. I am a novice at photoshop, so it is helpful for learning where all of the buttons are. I feel like I will be better at Affinity Designer than I will ever be at photoshop.

I have been using AD since it was first launched and started following Jhon Silva probably from one of his first tutorials I saw on YouTube. That said, I still learned a number of wonderful things throughout this course, from the ability to personalize the onscreen short cut (from three finger down swipe) to embedding vectors from the Stock panel and then being able to edit and use them as assets. I would recommend this course to anyone. If you are a beginner, take from it what you can and then come back after so experience with the software and keep going (or repeat). It won't be a waste of your time!
