Our take
Based on the ratings of 3,673 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in June 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.
This is a long, code-along tour of retrieval-augmented generation built on LangChain, LangGraph and LangSmith. The syllabus shows 141 lectures and about 34 hours across 30 sections, running from loading documents and vector stores through hybrid search, agentic and corrective RAG, graph databases and an end-to-end document search project. It was last updated in June 2026, and it includes a section on LangChain v1. Despite the all levels tag, it suits people who already write basic Python and want breadth across RAG patterns, not a first programming course.
Reviewers who give 4 and 5 stars like the simple explanations from Krish Naik, the range of topics, and the way beginners can follow along. One calls it among the best RAG and LangChain courses out there. The complaints are consistent, though. Several say he reads or pastes code without explaining why a parameter exists, some examples use older functions that need updating, and the graph section lacks code and a real GraphRAG build. A few call it surface level, and one wants it shorter. There are no quizzes or exercises.
The rating is 4.6 from 3,673 reviews, and more than 40,000 students have enrolled, so most people come away satisfied. It is a good fit if you want a guided map of RAG techniques and are willing to look up current docs when code breaks. If you want production grade depth on chunking, reranking and evaluation, reviewers suggest it will feel thin. Treat it as a broad first pass, then build something of your own to fill the gaps.
Pros
- Covers hybrid search, corrective and adaptive RAG, and agentic pipelines in one place
- Includes a section redone for LangChain v1 and was updated in June 2026
- Reviewers praise simple explanations that beginners can follow
- Ends with a document search project plus graph database sections
Cons
- Instructor often reads or pastes code without explaining parameters
- Some code uses older functions and needs updating to run cleanly
- No quizzes or exercises, and the graph section lacks code
Thanks, Krish. You provided great information with very simple explanations and examples, so even beginners can understand easily.
Listed for all levels, but it assumes basic Python and some LangChain, so true beginners may struggle.

The Sessions you thought were very excellent. At first, I faced difficulties on the road map of AI your course cleared the road map and also gained so much knowledge on the topics of AI. I thought that I won't understand mathematics calculations in This AI and ML courses but It was wrong. your explanation skills were very Awesome. your course help me a lot on understanding the concepts from Python to RAG In a deeper way. now I was more interested and confident to continue my learning and wanted to build by carer in Gen AI. Thank you very much for the brief content. I really like it. please do continue the courses on the latest topics and make us aware new ones. thank for the Course, Tanuja Marreddy

there are some topics that can make it better, how does dense and sparse vector works , algo's behind the working . prompting and how to improve prompts. how we can handle hallucination. etc which are helpfull for interview prep. that would be great if you can add one more section for all kind of interview question answer regrading RAG thanks

Hands down one of the best RAG and LangChain courses out there. By the time you're done with it, you'll be proficient in all things RAG and LangChain. Highly recommended and packed with content.
By Hirad Khakipour on 3/23/2026
Amazing course! very in depth on all topics. Not only does this course cover basics with plenty of examples where one can get hands on practice, it goes even deeper into showing how the basics can be applied to create complex RAG applications using multitude of concepts. Highly recommend!
By Soham Chakraborty on 3/11/2026
The topics are good and relevant, but the tutor in many sections just copy pasting the codes, and is not able to provide the in-depth explanation, for example there are some parameters of a function , he just reads it but does not explain what is it and why it is used for.
By Shivansh on 3/10/2026
i enjoyed the lectures just few things are there that the content got some old some techniques, library got deprecated / moved , otherwise i like it and i have created the notes and saved the latest codes in my repo https://github.com/Shivanshvyas1729/Krish_naik_rag_notes1 until now
By Anonymized User on 2/28/2026
very nice and deep learning with hands on RAG and Graph implementation. Once again i got more than what i expect. Great work Krish!! Thank you , Ajay
