The material is not basic, so I learned a little, and the presenter is pleasant to listen to, but overall the information is not conveyed as efficiently and quickly as it could be. I feel like it’s a bit of a waste of time, and could be more concise.

What fun! I think the reasons I gave Peter B. 5-stars are these: 1. Organization--there is so much to learn. It's a new world, and Peter crafted a course that made intuitive sense. I feel like it was easier to learn because of this. 2. Real-world experience--Peter shared everything about his work, and it's both a learning tool and a refining tool. I think people watched/listened to the work and made decisions to go further or give it up as not being their thing. 3. Peter himself--he's somebody you'd love to go share a pint with. I can imagine people watching and voice-'watching' with him after a couple of Guinness. I learn more easily from somebody I like, and he's really likable. Plus, he's an excellent teacher.

Having experienced another course by him as well, I can say this depth, refinement, and authenticity are consistent hallmarks of his teaching.

Loved the class. Peter covers a lot of relevant topics. My only critique is that some of the information is a little outdated. Skype has been decommissioned, for example. I would like to see Peter (or his assistant) update the sections for 2025 software and modern methods. It also may be good to include tips on how popular modern-day software like Canva and Notion can be used in a voiceover business. Excellent foundational course.

I love the voice exercises etc and the more practical info but on the whole, fantastic insight and having spent a whole bunch of my life in retail, I understand and agree with your position on pleasing the clients. now to re-watch everything and take the first confident steps to what I hope is a financially beneficial, exciting new career for my senior years, doing what I love to do.

This course gave me the information I needed to start voice-over work as a 2nd career. Peter highlighted things I wouldn't have thought of on my own.

The terminology can be a tad strange at times ("Voiceover" instead of "Voice Actor"), and some of the tech/setup suggestions may be out of the price/circumstance range of some, but nonetheless there is much practical and useful advice within, delivered in a knowing, human, and self-aware fashion that should prove helpful to anyone interested in voice work, even if you are not going for the sort of commercial-based work focused on in this course.
