Want to be a Big Data Scientist? (Udemy.com)

This course provided an excellent overview of being a Data Scientist. I found it to be very informative and instrumental in making the decision to move forward with this career change.

I got to know . What you need to study to become Data Scientist. But the course is very dry. He is just reading the text makes to sleepy while listening.

This is a very good intro course for someone who doesn't know a thing about data science and would like to know what is it about. The instructor has many years of experience on the field and he will show you what data science his, what different softwares, skills and people work in Data Science and also how to get started in this field of the future. I recommend everyone interested in learning more about Big Data with this intro course.

The course delivers what it is meant to deliver which is spelt out in the course content. Aptly segregated into sequential lectures. The transcript needs proof reading as it seems to have been converted from speech to text and hence has many many errors. Summing up - a very useful course!

Good starting point to get an overall idea of what Data Science is and to decide whether to start or not a professional path in that direction. It's brief and direct, but slides could be visually more attractive to make it easier to follow and improve engagement. (Data science also needs to meet sales/marketing science ;))

I have already started in this journey... This course gave me the insights into the various roles that make up Data Science. It is overwhelming to learn everything that involves Data Science and have work experience in it too. Phew! I plan to have the knowlegebase but will focus on one area of Data Science. That is my takeaway from this course! A great course, Thank you!!!

Great course to learn what the field of Data Science is about, what a career in DS can look like. Great overview of the phases of a projet in DS, the skills required to be part of a DS Team, and the various roles in a DS team. I like the pace of the instructor (slow haha it`s good for me!). Although he has an accent, it is easy to understand. The amount of details provided is sufficient in my opinion for the goals of this course. Thank you!

Kumaran Sir has explained the data science and career paths in a very well written and expressed format, for people looking for careers in DS. This is one of the excellent videos on Udemy, I'd look forward to see such intro videos for all diverse audiences looking to opportunity to broaden their skills.

As far my knowledge on DS I am good to know many a things that a person who is new to this field should DO's and DONT's. I learnt good very basics understanding on the process involved and the different teams and job roles involved in the whole vast DS landscape.

In Depth understanding of the contents and scope of the course. I am impressed by the introduction given from the instructor. It seems interesting to me. Lets see what future holds... Full marks to the Instructor. Precise explanations about the roles and responsibilities..conceptually clear understanding about the pathways and how to reach to the target career outcome.
