This course lays out a solid foundation from a technical standpoint on how to develop a story idea and turn it into a screenplay. It's not comprehensive in that regard, nor should it be. There is so much more to learn. It's a never-ending process which is part of the allure, and the instructor provides valuable resources that I've already dipped into and utilized to further my knowledge and cultivate my skills. As a self-published novelist, I understand the mental blocks associated with starting at a blank page, whether it's filled with prose or a script. And this is where this course shines like the brightest star in the sky. From a psychology standpoint, this course and the honest opinions from the instructor make me excited and committed to embarking (and continuing) on this new journey. It's a quick-hitting, action-packed, informative, and enjoyable course filled with digestible and actionable tips/resources in a witty and engaging manner. I honestly can't wait to get started and look forward to taking more courses from this trusted instructor.
