Andrew Butcher

My name is Andrew Butcher. I wrote and released my first fiction novel at the age of 21 and have since written more books in the same series, multiple books under various pen names, and have recently branched out into nonfiction. Many times, my books have hit the #1 spot for their categories on Amazon and other online eBook stores.
In my fiction writing, I'm a plotter by nature and I love experimenting with story structure to discover the most effective ways to outline a novel.
My favourite feedback from my readers is that they love how layered my stories are, how believable my characters come across, how easy it is to visualise my books' settings, and that its important to pay attention to every word in my books; my readers know that with each word I am intricately weaving together multiple plot lines. My favourite ever feedback was when someone called me The Master Juggler. (This fan did go on to make an inappropriate joke about how many balls I had in the air, but apparently he was referring to story plot lines!)
If you want to learn how to outline highly detailed stories of your own, then please enroll in my course titled Write a Novel Outline From Scratch!

Lots of good content but without Scrivener, none of the resources could be accessed. That was unfortunate. Microsoft Word or PDF versions would have been appreciated.

First of all, I'm not a nativespeaker, so please mind my language.
I'm not very excited with this course. Besides the informations I already knew, there we're many things I don't get.
First the teacher recommends evernote and scrivener, okay I get why, but why is every ressource of this course just for scrivener users? I would be easy to copy everything and put it into an PDF.
Second I don't unterstand the sequence of this course. Why are we talking about structures and acts at the end of the course, when I already finished my story outline and my plot?
Third I don't get the audio-version of this course. It seems to let to course look bigger than it its (more sections and minutes), while it's just the exact audio files from the course. I don't get why I would need them, but when i need them, there is a udemy-app so I won't need the files anyway.
Positive:
The teacher has a nice voice and for me as a not nativespeaker, i watched the course with a speed of 1,5x without any problems!

This is a very good quality course. Andrew Butcher comes across as warm, motivational and succinct in his teaching style. (I even enjoyed the video on how to use this course.) All through this course I have felt engaged by the materials presented. The course presentation is thought provoking and has helped me motivate in finishing an old, unfinished manuscript that I can now see as actually be worthy of publishing. The tasks given throughout were helpful and always got me to the next point in the outline cleanly, without confusion, or feeling as though I didn't get enough info. The Bonus Tips were truly bonuses for me. Andrew's presentation of the material has been carefully considered and well planned making this a course I was excited to complete. Andrew has a very clear, pleasant speaking voice. Perhaps this isn't an essential piece to learning through videos and audios but, it certainly makes it easier and more enjoyable. Thank you very much for sharing your wisdom, Andrew. I have never felt this confident and organized in my ability to get my book completed and published previously. Thank you for helping me regain confidence in my book writing. I highly reccommend this course.

I'm learning a lot, but having trouble with the downloads, and I've noticed I'm not the only one.

By Arinjoy Majumder on 7/24/2020

Some parts so far are a bit useless like udemy tutorial, but he gave some really good tips. It's a little boring, but great overall.

Really liked the insight on the process of outlining. For someone with no experience of drafting a story yet, this was very helpful.
