This is a short interview prep course from YK Sugi, a former Google developer who runs the CS Dojo YouTube channel. It runs about 2.1 hours across 35 lectures. After a few problem solving tips, it works through 11 problems on arrays, strings, two-dimensional arrays, linked lists and trees. Each one comes with a coding exercise in Python or Java. It assumes you already know basic data structures, breadth first and depth first search, and Big O, so it is a practice set, not a first lesson.

Reviewers praise how clear the explanations are. One likes the flow of problem statement, then discussion, then pseudo code, because it allowed a peek at a hint without getting the whole answer. Most of the 4,502 ratings are four or five stars. The complaints are consistent. Some explanations, like the binary search tree check, move too fast. Later videos drop the time complexity, so it is hard to tell whether a solution is optimal. Two reviewers wanted harder problems and more of them, and one noted that Q&A questions go unanswered.

The last update was in 2019. The course is short enough to work as a low-risk warm-up or refresher before an interview. Treat it as a sampler of core patterns, not full preparation, and pair it with a bigger problem bank. Good for a quick tune-up, thin as the only resource.

Unlikely from most of the courses, I've seen, his videos are always very easy to understand, no matter how complicated the subject is. Would highly recommend this course!

Content is good but there is room for improvements and enhancements, Also, the AI assistant says that it is OK to choose either Python or Java and certificate will be given. But in reality, after all problems done in Python, the progress status still shows incomplete. Hence, you have to download cut-and-pasted JAVA solutions to all exercises just so to reach 57 of 57 completion. The instructor and Udemy must correct this error. There can be many people not getting certificates, I would imagine.

it started as a promising curse but chapter 3 (strings) contains very low level questions, and chapter 4 (2D arrays) contains questions that based only on index manipulation, also a very low level for coding interview.
i was expecting questions with higher level like dynamic programming, known graph algorithms etc..

Good problems and very good solutions and explanations.
I missed an option to train on the given problems in other languages (C++ for me)
In addition, although the problems are very diverse I think there should be more problems (and solutions).
