Description:

Hi, I'm Teresa Cain, an award winning author, speaker and expert on design sprints and want to introduce you to concept of 2 hour design sprints. Many organizations have based their own design thinking process from Stanford's Design Thinking Method or using Google and Jake Knapp’s 5 Day process from the book “Sprint: How to Solve Big Problems and Test New Ideas in Just Five Days”. However, 5 day design sprints have had its challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic including the ability to conduct a remote design sprint using the same process effectively, loss of productive time and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in one room.

The adaptation of technology firms to 2 hour design sprints teaches organizations, product managers, researchers and designers how to adapt to a 2 hour process derived from design thinking and design sprint methods to increase the frequency and speed of solving small and medium problems whether virtual or in-person, while still using the 5 day design sprint method to solve large or complex problems.

I spent over 36 months teaching, testing and implementing this concept at organizations and conferences around the world, and released a #1 Bestseller and #1 New Release book in Business Technology Innovation on Amazon called Solving Problems in 2 Hours: How to Brainstorm and Create Solutions with Two Hour Design Sprints on what I learned and how organizations can succeed using shorter design sprint methods.

I created an on-demand training in Udemy for UX researchers, product managers, designers or any organization looking to keep their roadmap on track or get ahead of competitors by using problem solving techniques that allow you to solution and implement features faster. 2 hour design sprints can help teams deliver value driven features to clients faster by simplifying traditional methods. * I am very surprise that this kind of Method has been around since 70's but now we try to implemented even we know that is working for big companies.. * I am not too convince that is going to work for project(s) where the dependency is more than 60% on the 3rd party.. but is good to try.. * I guess the most we can use we can have the best of this meeting and Method (Design Sprint Method)

I was a bit repetitive, with lots of valuable information added but in a way that I found difficult to follow at times. I'd have loved more engagement on screen (eye contact) and sense of visual screen presence. Presenting each section separately before bringing the entire template together might have helped. Overall, a brilliant and valuable concept and as a visual learner I'll use it alot!

The course is straight to the point, the methodology is amazing, but I feel like it overwhelmed and became monotonous at some times. Wish there have some use cases and more multimedia resources to make the experience funnier. But, it's a very nice course!

I saw this book on Amazon when looking for books on UX and bought it as I have read the 5-day design sprint, and learned about this course in the book. I feel like it's a great addition to reading the book and allows for an easy follow to the handful of 5-day design sprints I have done, looking forward to trying this method for a 2 hour process and Figma FigJam.

I think this is the first bad review I do on Udemy. Unfortuneatly it is more of a youtube tutorial for a short freamwork than a course :( The 2 hour design sprint sounds interesting, however I expected a lot more of going into details, different cases that you should expect running a workshop and a real sample of how it is conducted.. it doesn't go into details at all.

I love kicking off projects with a design sprint, but often times the scheduling of a multi-day meeting is nearly impossible. This time efficient approach still results in cross-org groups to align and start to iterate on solutions. This is a useful course in the practical application of this idea.

By Angela Skalberg on 4/26/2023

Love this course! this approach lines up well with our agile approach from the development standpoint. Also, this is something that can be used for more than just product management. This can be applied to anything where collaboration and decisions are involved. Brilliant!

An awesome expert clearly at Design Sprints. As a Chief Product Officer and leader that has been a Design Sprint junky for the past decade, I have probably facilitated dozens of Design Sprints now and still learned several new techniques and concepts I will definitely fold into my team's approach for the next sprints. Well done!

I love this course on 2-Hour Design Sprints. It's informative, engaging, and helpful in understanding a process that's quick to give your results. The course was well-organized and easy to follow. The instructor is knowledgeable and passionate about the topic, which makes the learning experience enjoyable. I appreciated the real-world example calendar, which helped me understand how to apply the design sprint methodology to my work. I recommend this Udemy course to anyone interested in learning about design sprints. It is a great resource for designers, product managers, and anyone who wants to be more involved in the design process. Thank you for creating a quick yet insightful course.

I've had issues with stakeholders wanting to attend design sprints so I am excited to try this method with my team and see the response. I also like how in depth you go into Figma FigJam as I use Figma but have not used FigJam much so excited to start using it more.
