Remember, certification is just a stepping stone – you need to build skills to succeed in this role.

The actual exam contains only 65 questions and scenarios – so they can test you only so much.

You need to prepare yourself for 200-300 different scenarios, and this preparation is what will make you a well-rounded Solutions Architect

This preparation is the objective of this course

Depending on your experience level, you can approach it in two ways – Test first or Concept first

Test First

If you are already familiar with AWS, you can start with the test-first approach and continue in sequence.

There are two Practice Tests

Each test has 65 questions that you need to answer in 130 minutes

The result and detailed answers are available after you complete the test

The practice test is followed by a series of additional quizzes organized by service

The quizzes are a great way to identify specific areas of strength and improvement

You will get immediate feedback along with detailed explanation and relevant review videos

Concept First

If you prefer to review the concept first, you can start with the videos in the Networking section. All the videos have accurate closed captions!

Each section focuses on a core service, its purpose, and how you would use them

We then look at an integrated view of how you can use all these various services to build an order processing system

We will compare the architecture of a server-based and serverless solution.

And how to decouple components

Migration of data to the cloud is a complex exercise

We will walk through several real-life scenarios on how you can approach them

Poor worded quiz questions inducing to error

The course was tailored to most frequent doubts and it was a great learning experience for me.. there are some areas where the in depth explanations were given so simply that made it very easy to understand, however some concepts need more examples.. Overall love my learning experience with the instructor Chandra Lingam and looking forward to other courses from the instructor!

I used it to prepare for my AWS-SAA-C03 exam. I cleared it in first attempt during this week. About the course material - Good, precise and conceptualized content which you can use to prepare the exam and brushing up the concepts. Thanks to Chandra Lingam for the wonderful & crisp explanations. The only thing I would suggest is to include revised practice exams as per C03 questionnaire samples as I felt many of the questions are more confusing and elaborative than the current practice tests given.

This is an excellent course to learn concepts and also for revision. Use this before taking the exams. Most of the topic are covered in good detail esp security, migrations, messaging and databases. I feel some more topics should be added in last section "Route53, ECS, Elastic Beanstalk etc" to increase coverage.

Top quality training material - covers all aspects of the exam and is easy to follow for a complete beginner - I used this course do most of my test prep and cleared the exam easily.
