3 Minute German - Course 3 | Language lessons for beginners (Udemy.com)

This last lesson on traffic, once again, was just pure overkill... I lost interest in finishing this course because so much was wasted on traffic...

I enjoy the learning German in repeatable phrases. Hoping to use the learning on a trip at the end of the year!

I’ve really enjoyed this course. The short sessions and repetitive nature helps to ensure I retain the language. I also feel like it’s easy to fit into my busy schedule.

Really good one. It differs greatly from other standard courses where you go through these template-like lessons like 1. Here's grammar 2. Here's how we apply it 3. Here's some topic about German culture and so on and so on. We don't learn our native languages like this when we are children. We just hear and repeat, trying to find some repeated patterns. For sure all of us need some structured lessons with grammar and other stuff, but that's when we at least know some basic language and just want to improve it even more. I'd better take these 3 minutes lessons and in some time I will be able to communicate at least at some degree rather than start some boring standard German lessons and give up after the first 3 units.

I have an idea for you, the sentence, that are being displayed in the video. Just add simple javascript render overlay to the video, that picks up the keys I type, and well, displays them matching the text on screen. That way re-enforce the spelling of the words, else just do it by fake typing

As great as the previous two. I am going to start the fourth one now. Pity, I see it seems to stop after five.

When I first visited Deutschland; I couldn't speak or understand a single word of this great language and now I can use it to a functional level quite confidently. ​

I like the teacher who gives us a few new words in each lesson. And he build on the vocabularies that we learn and build up sentences that we'll commonly use in our daily life. And I like the exercise he works with us in the lesson. It really is helping my brain to work in a new language. And I find it fun to learn when I follow lesson by lesson.

Ive studied at the Goethe Institute for a couple of years. I stopped going because of work but when I left I was a month from level "B1". I always had issues with speaking and thinking in German. I always felt like I was missing something as other students seemed to progress easily. With this course, the vocabulary is brought in slowly with tons of review. The grammar moves at a decent pace and covers a great deal without too much trouble. I listened to it on the way to work, in the parking lot and sometimes on the way home but got the most out of the course dedicating time at home to actively focus and respond out-loud. I wrote down words that don't pop into my head quickly. Replay tell you translate before the teacher does and replay some more. If there is only one suggestion for learning German it would be that you have to SPEAK it to LEARN it. I know how that sounds but just do it! This course is focused on just that and he did a great job on it.
