Glen McCready

An honours graduate of the celebrated Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art (1906-2006), Glen trained in voice and speech under Michael Griffiths, Caryll Ziegler and Stewart Pearce (Head of Voice at Webber and later Master of Voice at Shakespeares Globe Theatre for Mark Rylance).
After a time asActing Head of Voice at Webber Douglas, Glenestablished his own Voice Department at The London Drama School. He works professionallyas an actor and voice artist but when time allows he loves to teachvoice and speech training.
In addition to many actors, Glen has coached celebrities, CEOs, newsreaders, presenters, GPs and lawyers. His great passion is accent modification - not, he stresses, the removal of a persons often unique and beautiful native accent, but rather, teaching an additional, neutral and more universal British English accent, which can be adopted whenever required.
Glen is one of only three professionalvoices selected to record the guide pronunciations for the Longman Pronunciation Dictionary,working with its editor Professor J C Wells.

Yes I would love to learn a different accent besides the English... From what I understand there are several British accents... and I was practicing some of the words but was told that they don't sound British so I need to practice a lot. For example the word, "poop" is pronounced different...
I had to re-start 2 of them I think it as 28 and 29 3 times... and I am on lesson 41 not even half way done. I wonder how many more is it?
I noticed I am starting all over again apparently 1-27 lessons don't have a mark I already took them. That means starting all over until the 27th lesson.
