Course Description

Welcome to the world of 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing.

This course is designed for beginners as well as experienced learners who want a clear, practical understanding of how 3D printing works—from a blank digital design to a real physical object.

Buying your first 3D printer is a serious investment. Before spending money, it’s important to understand the complete workflow:
how a digital 3D model is designed, sliced, printed, and converted into a functional part. This course helps you make smart, informed decisions before and after purchasing a 3D printer.

3D Printing, also known as Additive Manufacturing, allows you to create real objects layer by layer using 3D CAD models. What once felt like science fiction is now a practical, powerful technology used in engineering, product development, prototyping, and manufacturing.

In this course, you will learn:

  • How a 3D printer works (hardware & process)

  • 3D design using Tinkercad

  • Slicing and print setup using Cura

  • Materials selection and print optimization

  • Common printing failures and how to fix them

  • How to go from design → slice → print confidently

By the end of this course, you will be able to design, slice, and print your own parts for engineering applications, prototyping, home use, office tools, or even unique custom gifts.

This is a practical, hands-on course focused on real-world workflows—not just software buttons.

Let’s start your journey into 3D Printing and turn your ideas into reality.

Enjoy

got a lot out of this course. The instructor explains the material in a relaxed and understandable way, which made it easy to stay focused. I liked that the lessons were not just about memorising information but also about understanding how things work and when to use different techniques. The practical examples helped me connect the lessons with situations I could actually encounter. I also found the course easy to follow because the topics were introduced gradually instead of throwing everything at the learner at once. Whenever I came across something I did not fully understand, I could simply go back and watch that section again. By the time I finished, I had a much stronger grasp of the subject and felt motivated to keep practising.

This course was a worthwhile experience and definitely gave me something useful to take away. The content is presented in a clear manner, and the instructor does not make the subject feel intimidating. I liked the fact that the course gradually develops from the basics into more detailed areas, because it gave me enough time to become comfortable before moving forward. The practical parts were probably the most useful for me since they helped turn the information into something I could actually work with. I also appreciated the flexibility of the platform, allowing me to learn whenever I had free time. After completing the course, I feel more knowledgeable and better prepared to continue improving. A solid course for anyone who wants to learn and practise at the same time.

I came into this course expecting to learn the basics, but I ended up gaining much more than that. The lessons gave me a clearer picture of how the subject works and why certain approaches are more effective than others. I liked the fact that the instructor did not rush through the material. Important ideas were given enough attention, and the explanations felt natural rather than forced. The demonstrations were also a big plus because they made it easier to see the connection between the lesson and actual application. I was able to follow the training at my own pace and revisit areas whenever I needed to. Overall, this was a productive use of my time, and I feel that I have taken away knowledge that will remain useful for future projects.

I especially appreciated the balance between theory and hands-on demonstrations, as it allowed me to immediately apply what I was learning. The lessons were well-paced, and each module built naturally on the previous one. I also liked that the instructor shared useful tips, common mistakes to avoid, and practical advice based on real-world experience. By the end of the course, I felt significantly more confident in my abilities and had gained skills that I can immediately use in my work. This course exceeded my expectations, and I would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality online training.

enuinely impressed with the quality of this course. The instructor clearly has a deep understanding of the subject and explains everything in a way that is easy to grasp. The lessons are well-structured, and each section builds naturally on the previous one, making the learning process smooth and enjoyable. I particularly appreciated the practical demonstrations, which helped reinforce the concepts and showed how they can be applied in real-life situations. The pace was just right—not too fast and not too slow—and I never felt overwhelmed. This course has given me a stronger foundation and the confidence to continue learning more advanced topics. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comprehensive and practical learning experience

This is a fantastic course that provides both depth and clarity. From the introduction to the final lesson, the instructor maintained a consistent teaching style that was engaging, informative, and easy to understand. I liked how the course combined explanations with demonstrations, allowing me to see not only how something works but also why it works that way. The pace was comfortable, giving me enough time to absorb the material without feeling rushed. I have completed several online courses before, and this one stands out because of its excellent organisation, practical examples, and high-quality instruction. I finished the course feeling much more knowledgeable and confident, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who wants a comprehensive learning experience

good lectures to learn

By Paul Carpenter on 3/1/2026

Great course. Tinkercad is explained well with hands on exercises. The course goes on to discuss 3d printing technology. Details the process of moving tinkercad files to the printer. Some items were out of date (tinkercad version and 3d printer used) but the theory and basic functionality is the same. Really well thought out course for the beginner.

By Abhijit Singh on 2/16/2026

Amazing Course with easy-to-follow lectures. The creator has very good knowledge on the subject & made it really easy to learn & start working with 3D Technology. Tinker CAD is really nice software especially for Beginners to get comfortable & get going with 3D modelling & Printing with ease. I'll eventually move to Fusion360 & Blender. So far, I have modeled a few functional parts & printed those. A few more projects would have been nice which would touch designing parts with different types of complexity & real-world design challenges.
