A Mini Course on Better Reading (Udemy.com)

Not only did this course give me helpful tools to read faster and read more, but it pointed out some vital things that I had not thought of before even in the research I did on reading. Unlike other courses, it talks about when you should listen to audiobooks versus when you should read a book, it discusses the importance of regular routine, and it gives great, clear instruction and motivation on how to start reading again. I really enjoyed this course.

I picked this course hoping to get through my dilemma of wanting to consume more books without knowing how to go about it, and I'm so glad I did because the tips I've learned have given me so much more clarity on how to go about it. I'm already curating a list of books I've always wanted to read and after knowing these techniques, I'm so excited to get started. Thank you!

The course did not offer any new value. It was a marketing to purchase another course about becoming a learning machine to become a better reading. Only thing this course mentioned was to have a reading ritual, preview the book before you read, and slow down to read the important section. All of these things which generally people know and could find this info on other places at no cost. Overall, I would not recommend this course. Save your money.

I feel the same. Schools unfortunately stress children and young people with having to memorize facts. But after finishing education they need to then learn life skills why not teach life skills?! So then we can achieve what we want without stress without procrastination fear .... ect. Really good course and really looking forward on reading the books.

THIS COURSE OFFERS CONCISE BUT IN-DEPTH EXPLANATIONS, WITHOUT MAKING YOU FEELING BORED AT ALL. ANOTHER AMAZING POINT OF THIS COURSE IS THAT SOME OF THE MENTIONED TACTICS ANALYZED IN A PERFECT WAY BY THE INSTRUCTOR, USUALLY ARE USED AND APPLIED SPONTANEOUSLY AND WITHOUT REALIZING BY PEOPLE WHO READ A LOT OF SCIENTIFIC OR GENERAL KNOWLEDGE BOOKS. This is the second class I've taken from this instructor, and have truly enjoyed it. The lessons are manageable and bite-sized, and can be easily listened to -thus leveraging my time. Then when I am able to sit down, and look at the course more closely, I am able to find valuable, applicable and actionable items to round out my overview (example: getting started with a sample of his favorite books). Loved it! Thank you!

Really actionable advice to improve your reading speed that will save you a lot of time. [Update] My review remais the same. Reviewed the course again and it remains actionable. Should serve as reference as there are so many jewels that you can use for a lifetime of study. His full course about reading 300 books in one year is this course on steroids. If you liked these tips, you'll become a monster with the paid course. This course will take you VERY far though.

Very practical useful tips to enhance your reading . Far beyond speedreading , which is only one of the tools one can use to get a lot more out of ones reading. Appreciated the video on recommended books , which actually is a nice demonstration of the approach to reading he teaches . Sure gonna go for the bigger course. Clearly answered all of my concerns with the current educational system. I am currently a Junior in College, and I have finally become awakened to the flaws in our institutions. Not only that, I am now ready to take my learning into my own hands, and push myself even further than any coursework ever will. Thank you for the concise, but very memorable course! I will definitely listen to this daily for motivational boosts!

Well structured and quite motivating. Though the outcome was pretty good and I am on the way to buy the books recommended however I the expectations I had from the course was different. All in all I enjoyed going through this course. Recommend this course for everyone.
