Though the course is older it is still relevant and works with almost no modification in the most current Unity release. Nice bite sized teaching chunks keep you engaged without becoming a slog. You should have a little coding experience but not much is needed. he uses some techniques that absolute beginners may not understand but walks you through what to do without a long unneeded explanation into programming that you could get from more focused C# courses if you wanted to. The course focuses on the game and if you follow it you will have a fully functional game, many courses fall short of this.
