Excellent course, thank you! Some of it went a bit over my head - the software is so powerful that I won't need some of it for what I plan to do (just record a few of my songs for myself) - but it was well explained and the course was well structured. The presenter was knowledgeable and engaging. At the start of the course I was struggling to understand how the software worked. At the end of it, I have successfully recorded several songs with multiple tracks on each, including using a MIDI keyboard for input. The course was great value for money and has whetted my appetite for other music courses with you. Thanks very much. All the best!

Haven’t finished the course yet. Although the tutor is knowledgeable he moves way too fast with no consideration for the beginner so the course isn’t beginner friendly as advertised. I emailed the tutor for some help and was totally ignored! I guess once they got paid they didn’t genuinely care about any concerns or questions. Wouldn’t recommend for these reasons. Customer service is just as important as knowledge and skills.

I'm quite new to music production and Ableton Live in particular, and this course was just right for me. I had so much to learn and it was all very well explained. While following the course I upgraded to Live 11 Standard due to an attractive special offer, but that didn't make the course less valuable. Everything still applies except for the fact that I'm no longer limited to only 8 sets and tracks. I might have to learn about some additional features somewhere else, but that's okay. StudioSlave is the perfect tutor. He explains well and at the right pace.

A great course which I can thoroughly recommend. It has brought me from not knowing anything about Ableton to having the confidence to start making my own tracks. All the sections are taken step by step with explanations all the way. it will continue to be a great resource to use as I go forward. Thank you Studio Slave.

The course is well prepared and very useful so far. The focus is on Ableton for Mac (which is a bit of downside for me as I'm a Windows PC user). Sometimes the changes and jumping through the screens are a bit too fast for me to understand what's really going on right away, but instructor is tends to return to the topics to explain things from a bit different angle.

Instructor gives good explanations of topics and knows his stuff. He does go quickly, but remember you can pause and replay as needed. This is a good approach as you don't get bored. His English accent is easily understood, at least to me as a Canadian. Folks have complained about the screen getting fuzzy at times and yes this happens to varying degrees. I am not sure if it is the instructor's fault or how Udemy encoded his video uploads. Hopefully this can get fixed. It is what held me back from a 5 star rating. Definitely learning and enjoying so far.

Great class by Studio Slave. If you want to learn this software, this class is completely worth it. No-nonsense delivery, just jam-packed lessons on every aspect of Ableton that I'll be referencing and re-watching for a while, picking new things up every time. As a newbie to DAW music production, this is just what I needed.

I am very happy with the outcome of taking this course. It is very well built, comrehensive and compact. The instructor knows Ableton Live inside out, which can be seen from the very first parts. On the top of that, he kept me focused all the way till the end, since the explanations were really interesting and deep. Now, by taking this course, I feel much more confident and I can find all those functions I need in the daw ( some of them I didn't even know they exist ) and I learned how to make a track from scratch. Thank you Studio Slave for making this course, very well done, worth every penny!

Really enjoying the course so far. Glad this one is focused on Live Lite/Intro as so many others presume as a beginner to Abelton Live that you own the Suite version for some reason or already own expensive plug-ins. While I had been playing with Abelton Live for a couple weeks this course within the first dozen lessons clarified quite a number of Live features I thought I knew with depth that wasnt apparent before. Tiny details that are easy to miss were highlighted. The lesson on Arrangement vs Session view in particular had some huge "aha" moments for me. Instructor explains every feature clearly and provides some practical advice on usage. I asked a question and got a very thorough response within an hour or two from the instructor. Looking forward to the rest of the course. Already added his other Abelton Live courses to my Wishlist and maybe I'll purchase while they are on sale. My opinion is that this course will definitely help move someone through the Ableton Live tool fairly well so you can get on with actually making music.
