Course Description

ACOUSTIC GUITAR SYSTEM is a guitar course for beginners who keep asking the same questions:

"How can I go from playing simple basic chords to beautiful sounding melodies in a few weeks."

"what about putting music theory into practice so that I can finally come up with my musical ideas."

Acoustic Guitar System is an online course that will show you how to play guitar in the most creative, musical, and practical way.

In this guitar course, I am going to show you how to transform your guitar playing and become a creative guitar player.

We will cover things such as:

"Fingerstyle technique and how to pluck the strings to achieve the perfect tone, dynamics, and control. We will play basic melodies, chords, arpeggios, and musical ideas that will shape your fingerpicking technique."

"Practical music theory and how to put into practice basic concepts such as intervals, major and minor chords, extended chords, major and minor scales, and more."

"Beautiful chords on the guitar and how to use fingerstyle guitar to spice things up and create chord progressions that are simple yet interesting. We will cover major and minor chords as well as major 7th, minor 7th and dominant 7th chords as well as add9 and more."

Scales and melodies on guitar and how to write a beautiful melody by learning the notes of the scale and then wisely write combine chords and single notes.

Basic percussive technique on the acoustic guitar such as thumb slap and thumb slap and strum.

This guitar course is perfect for any guitar player who wants to learn more about playing guitar and truly understand how to put together chords and melody.

Three things are stopping you from becoming the guitar player you want.

Number 1: You are stuck in a guitar rot. It could be because you play the same chords and songs or because you don't know how to progress. Reaching a plateau is one of the main reasons why guitar players stop playing guitar.

Number 2: You are practicing the wrong things. When I talk to beginners, I hear this a lot, "I am playing Pentatonic scales because someone told me this is the best way to start." There isn't such a thing as the best way. There is your way and what you need. Don't waste time practicing guitar styles that don't represent you. You want to be a blues player, learn blues. A classical player, learn classical guitar.

Number 3: You try to play too many things. Places like YouTube drive you crazy, and you always end up clicking on a ton of guitar lessons instead of practicing. Too many choices can slow you down big time.

The good news is, it is easy to get your motivation back if you follow a structured program.

If you want to learn how to play basic chords, extended chords, and you want to finally learn how to play simple scales and melodies using fingerstyle guitar, you should check this course. We will also learn practical music theory, simple percussive technique, and more.

Each guitar lesson comes with a dedicated Pdf that you can download and print.

IS THIS COURSE FOR BEGINNERS?

As a guitar teacher, I do my best to make things as simple as possible. This course doesn't show you how to hold the guitar or how to play your very first chords.

However, just because it doesn't show you that it doesn't mean that it is not for beginners.

There are a lot of different levels within the beginner's phase. Some beginners can pick up things much faster than others so they could, for example, finish this course quickly.

Some beginners learn slowly, and they need a more step-by-step and detailed program.

I did my best to keep things very simple. However, if you never played guitar before, THIS COURSE IS NOT FOR YOU.

It's impossible to create a beginner course that fits everyone. I am aware of that!

I would consider this course to be great for fingerstyle beginners. It's for students that already played guitar for a while and know the basic chords and simple strumming who want to learn more about fingerstyle, practical music theory, scales, and chords.

PLEASE! Make sure you preview some of the lessons inside Acoustic Guitar System.

Take advantage of the 30 days money back!

My goal is to teach you how to play guitar creatively. I did my best to organize the guitar lessons step by step, but I am always open to feedback so, please, if you have questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with new ideas or suggestions.

Enough talking!

Grab your guitar, and let's get started.

Marco Cirillo

Hey guys, Marco here! I have been playing guitar for over 20 years. I changed my music career different times since I started. I played classical guitar for 10 years (from 10 to 21 years old) and finished my degree in classical guitar in 2005.

I then decided I wanted to explore more about music and I spent five years in a school in Rome learning modern guitar. Those five years have been really beneficial! I learned about music theory, chords and how to improvise. When I finished my degree in classical guitar I had a really fluent technique but very little knowledge about chords and music theory. Rome was an awesome experience that really opened up a lot of directions in my playing.

In 2011 after finishing the school in Rome I decided to move to London. I left home and reached the big city with my electric guitar and a lot of dreams. I learned how to speak English (didn't lost my Italian accent though) and how to jam with other people. I also did different jobs for a while before I was able to go full time with music.

In 2013 I opened my YouTube channel and recorded few videos to promote my private teaching. I got hooked pretty soon with YouTube and decided to post more an more videos. I currently have 100.000 subscribers and over 15.000.000 total views.

it would be really great if there where also schematic representations maybe with tabs in a corner while you show the intervals. Also notes/tabs of the playing parts to make it easier to learn and study things.

I had group lesson and private lesson few years ago. Gradually I lost my passion in guitar as I got stuck in beginner level. Then I came across this course. This course is well constructed which covers a wide range of techniques and music theory in a melodic way. This is one of the must-have guitar course for "inter"-beginner.

By Roman Lukaschuk on 9/14/2021

Very good course and clear explanations. I learnt a lot and Marco has a very pleasant teaching style. The course would be better if Marco explained when to apply specific ideas/chords that he showed to us, and how to make decisions to make it more practical. I also felt that some videos in the second part of the course were there just to fill in the space because it seemed like they did not make part of the overall course structure.

By Marco Tonetti on 10/21/2020

A nice course, but a bit boring towards the end. The beginning was good but the last 3h or so were kind of boring and it felt was just done to show all the chords without teaching anything new. I'll do Marco's next course anyway because I liked the way he teach, nonetheless.

By Suseendran K on 8/31/2020

I learnt many things from this course but I felt like all modules have the same pattern as explaining key then chords and adding melody. Instead, It could have had few lessons like how to play solo or playing for a backing track or more fingerpicking techniques. Overall the course content is good, just go through my feedback to make it better.

By Dan Nightingale on 6/20/2020

Marco works on plucking technique right away as bad technique can really hamper progress later. Love the simple but melodic exercises that accompany the sections. Not a "beginner" course as in someone new to guitar but if you have learned the basic chords and are fairly proficient with them, this course should be doable.

By Lucy Ogden on 5/16/2020

I learned so much and it was so fun and rewarding to learn because the exercises are so engaging and beautiful that they make you want to practice and practice. Marco is an excellent teacher. He breaks things down to simple yet does not dumb it down. He comes up with such lovely musical phrases and documents everything so well in the TAB handouts that the learning just falls into places effortlessly. I'd recommend this course and this teacher enthusiastically and unhesitatingly!

Still lovin this great-value course from Marco Cirillo - so much to learn, and each lesson given is done in perfectly tailored, bite-sized chunks - enough to be challenging and delivers the dopamine when each is successfully completed ! All thanks to Cirillo's expert guidance - thank you thank you Marco !

In the starting, I tried honing my skills in fingerstyle with advanced songs. It worked out fine but I knew I was still missing out on the basics and the details infused within this beautiful type of playing. This course is really fascinating as it dwells on the crucial musical theory which shows you how intricate fingerstyle really is. Kudos to Marco for being one of the best teachers Ive come across!

By Cynthia Kall on 2/22/2019

Marco is a very accomplished intelligent musician who has the unique ability to articulate ideas even down to a very low skill level. He presents a course that builds skill and knowledge step by step. He is very generous with his time and talent and has presented a lot of resources for students to take forward and practice on their own. Marco is very inspiring. He brings musicality into the lessons so even beginners can begin making music while progressing through the theory of music. Please keep up the great work, Marco. It is much appreciated. Cynthia
