These videos are from 2010 snow leopard era. Some options relevant to CIS. same commands still work for big sur. Not worth the full price because content is outdated

As an intermediate Mac user, this course challenged me greatly. I learned many many useful, practical skills that will enable me to become better at troubleshooting on Mac OS devices. The instructor is highly qualified and knowledgeable about Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Please make an updated version of this course. Catalina does not support several of the outdated concepts within this module.

Useful but outdated content.

The Course was quite enlightening and well presented. I gained valuable knowledge that I will be able to apply in my work environment. The instructor had an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the subject matter and was also articulate in his presentation. More emphasis should however be placed on providing quizzes as the course progresses to gauge and test the students' understanding.

Very useful. It's good to get a reminder on what's all possible with Mac (even if the course is not on the latest Mac OS version) and to go in such depth on the various ways that macs are organized and can be administered.

I definitely learned a lot. I especially liked the sections on automation and security. Sometimes I would have benefited from more explanation about why something was important before the discussion of how it was done, but other than that, I thought the instruction was excellent. I hope you do a new version for El Capitan that overlaps with this course and covers some new stuff.

This was a great course, and showed me a lot of things I did now know about OS X. Definitely a good way of digging in to your Mac, the course covers a broad range of operations especially for people just starting out on Macs, or want to get a greater grasp on it's operation.

Clear and easy to understand. He really goes in deep. Even if you went in knowing nothing coming out of this course you will know things about Mac OSX most people couldn't imagine. You'll find yourself engrossed in all the Unixy goodness later in the course. Really satisfied overall.

I can recommend this course to all wanting to know more about the Terminal, and the GUI and command line ways of using your Mac more securely. The course is very informative and will just need to be updated to Mavericks, since MobileMe is now iCloud and several security changes have been implemented in Mavericks that won't be covered here. But Terminal is more or less the same in each successive release of OSX. I look forward to a Mavericks based course also.
