AI Video Creation with Runway ML Gen-4.5 & Act 2 (Udemy.com)

Wonderful course. My only reservation is the speed. Instructor felt like he was going so fast, I couldn't keep up sometimes, but overall a great course, with lots of knowledge on the platform. What I would love to see is something specifically geared towards those who want to create short films with Ai. The image and image to video aspect is super clear, but add dialogue, especially with several characters in one scene, is missing. If there is a course on that, I would love to sign up.

Informative, but it looks like the instructor is in a hurry. I would spend more time explaining different types of camera shots and movement techniques for those students who are unfamiliar. I'll give these guys credit for trying to keep this course up to date, especially considering how rapidly Runway puts updates out (Aleph 2, Seedance 2.0 compatibility, etc.)

I enjoyed this course and the presenter. It was a good introduction to Runway, but the interface had already changed in some areas, which made it difficult to follow along at times. For example, I have not been able to find some of the Camera options shown in the course. I also appreciated the live recording style and seeing the imperfections, trial and error, and real workflow throughout the lessons. It made the content feel more authentic and approachable.

The course was educational. It is not too long overall, which helps keep your attention. It could be structured a bit better in some parts. For example, when the Generate button is clicked, it would be better to immediately show the finished result instead of making us watch the image or video load. For a final video, I would have expected slightly better quality and a more ambitious example. Maybe even some still images as well. Most of the examples are animated characters without many details, so you do not really get to see the full potential of Runway. Especially for the final video, I would have preferred a more serious project that students could actually show to someone as their own work.

This lesson is a good match for me. There were actions I did not realize I could do. One thing is I like the extend option, where I could extend the video beyond 10s. I really needed to know that, since I make YouTube videos with characters, and I also use Eleven labs for lip sync. Sometimes the voice-over is longer than the video, so having the extend option works well for me. Also, everything else about the lesson is very helpful.

At the beginning of the course, I was hoping for a brief overview of the Runway interface – a short explanation of the layout, key functions, and general organization of the app – before diving into examples. Without this initial orientation, I found it difficult to follow along. It would also be helpful to mention which version of Runway is being used, as this can influence both the interface and available features. That said, I can see that you're very enthusiastic and passionate about what you're doing, and I really appreciate the positive energy you bring to the course. My feedback is meant to be supportive – not discouraging – and I’m giving a full rating because I believe the course has great potential with just a few structural improvements at the start.

You have explained it very well. Appreciate your efforts and thank you so much for the help. I would also request you to add sessions related to dialogue versions. How characters can speak and how can be add dialogues for the characters. In short, a complete session on making short stories or short films upto 10 mins using Runway or AI.

The course is good for the very basics. I expected more tips and tricks to achieve better quality of the videos, because I saw many impressing AI generated videos in the internet. But when I tried to practice myself, I was very disappoined by the quality and very strange movements of my caracters. But then I choose a different model (GEN-4 instead of GEN-3 which I had by default), and my videos become much much better. This course can be a starting point, but now I feel that I should read documentation and practice, practice, practice. Which is possible only with an expencive Unlimited plan.

Imo - this course getting close to a sale/rewiev series of Runway online app - every video show some "small" portion on what runway can do as an AI.app online going trough the main features of the Runway Ai on what and how it works. but if you are into the Ai world already, nothing to exeiting new stuff in the course. my rating : 4.5 stars for new beginners into AI video creating 2.0 stars if you are working making Ai vids and photos -runway have some nice features that atm others Ai apps do not cover to well, but as alway it comes to cost vs need of..and creative work one do - there are other tools around - due to cost of runway app Else the presentation on the app isent to bad a few hick up here and there where presentation overlapp and repeating at times. my rating 5 stars and only should be bought on discount's day

I loved this course. If you are not familiar with how to create videos using Runway, you'll get over that after going through this course. It is definitely geared towards beginners but also serves as a refresher for proper techniques using Runway. Great job the by Dan, the instructor. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn Runway correctly from the start.
