Most of the information is logical and easy to find in the internet, nothing special in it.

So much great information. Sadly there are so many people in denial about their situation and don't know how to handle it or there are family members who are clueless as to how to help them get through this situation. Looking forward to reading more.

An interesting course with plenty of useful information :) Of course, it might not be enough to start working with peple with addictions right away, but it is still useful and motivates you to gain even more knowledge. One thing I wanted to point out - at one point it is said in the presentation that cocaine is made from cocoa plant. It is probably a typo. I was so amazed with the fact that cocoa plant gives us drugs that I shared the fact with two of my friends only to find out later that it is actually a coca plant.

Very engaging personality/Lecturer. I would definitely purchase more of her coursing materials to offer to our team as a part of their job training. I would also recommend this course for anyone with a loved one experiencing addictions issues. This course is dissected in a manner which ensures easy understanding and additional information is made available for future referencing. A definite for anyone working with the vulnerable population suffering from addiction.~Heather McDavid, Social Development Coordinator, The Humanity Project for Social Development Inc. (Canada)
