Diego Davila's course is a short, beginner pitch for one specific side business: find a product on Alibaba, haggle with a supplier in China, import it, then list it on Amazon with FBA. It runs about 4.3 hours across 73 lectures and 21 sections, with a challenge after each session. The first half stays on Alibaba: finding products, vetting suppliers, negotiating, paying safely and duties. The second half covers Amazon setup, listings, shipping plans and packing. The only prerequisite is basic web searching.

Most of the 1,311 ratings are strong, with 751 five-star and 391 four-star. Reviewers like the clear voice, the step by step pace and the activities that push them to act. Several newcomers say it gave them a workable first picture of the whole process. The complaints are consistent, though. The screens come from older versions of Alibaba and Amazon, and the last update was June 2024. One reviewer says the Q&A goes unanswered. Others want more depth, especially on working out net profit once fees, barcodes and packaging are counted, and on opening an Alibaba account without a company.

At 4.3 hours, it is a quick way to see the whole process before spending money on stock. Treat it as orientation, not a full playbook. I bought the course seeing its title. The course title is Import from Alibaba to Amazon. The first part of the course is absolutely perfect and as per the title. The second part which is about Amazon is irrelevant to the title of the course. And last 1/4th part of the course which is titled as Bonus is just to complete the course time and to market other course. Overall the course is good.

I think this course has been very appropriate to have an initial general idea of how to start a business on Amazon.
What I find super important and novel in this course in the initial look at Alibaba. Understanding this place is as important as understanding Amazon and this is what makes this course valuable.
I think Diego does it very well taught and explaining, in a practical way and with very good communication. Although my level of English is quite bad, I was able to understand each video without problem.
The only reason I am not giving 5 stars to this course is because it is outdated, a lot of things have changed on the Alibaba and Amazon platforms from 2014 to now (2020).
