AngularJS was built to make you a better, more productive and happier developer. It's the framework enabling a new era in rich client side web experiences. It's the future.
This is a hands-on course taught by an experienced AngularJS developer who's built dozens of angular apps for a variety of clients including Google.
Every lecture in this course ties into real world benefits or applications, after only the first chapter you'll have the knowledge to add amazing AngularJS features to your current project.
Through a series of real-world examples you will learn the skills needed to build fully functional single page applications in AngularJS.
Learn battle proven techniques in AngularJS to solve common problems every web developer faces on a daily basis, such as:-
- Performing form validation with zero lines of code using a third party AngularJS package.
- Showing a beautiful datepicker control using a third party AngularJS package.
- Creating and interacting with bootstrap modals in AngularJS.
- When it comes to Single Page Applications we teach the far more popular and powerful AngularJS uiRouter module instead of the basic core angular routing module.
- Tools, tips and tricks to debugging your AngularJS applications.
This course is taught hands-on, you learn by doing. Follow along as we go through two example AngularJS applications the first a simple lowly form which we give super powers the second a complex single page contacts application where you will learn:-
- How to build easily re-usable bits of html & javascript using custom AngularJS directives.
- How to interact with a REST API using ngResource in 5 lines of code.
- Implementing infinite scroll, user feedback with spinners and toast messages.
- As well as much much more….
You'll learn how to implement functionality that's expected in todays applications in a fraction of the time using AngularJS compared to other frameworks.
----
I envy you I really do. I remember the first time I discovered AngularJS, everything just clicked, I got a warm fuzzy feeling inside and my eyes glazed over. I know because every developer I've introduced AngularJS to since has had the same look in their eyes.
It's perfect for the kinds of problems we have with the web today, everything is moving client side and the javascript portion of our websites are getting more and more complex.
You are here because you know you need something that can handle that complexity, you know that the future is moving to an even more client side experience and you suspect AngularJS might be the solution, and do you know what? You're right…

I wrote my first program in 1988. I was 11. First website in 1996, first class degree in Computer Science in 2000, and I still haven't found anything I'd rather do.
25+ years since then, across the European Space Agency, Intel, Microsoft and investment banks like Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan. Published author, and I've spent a good chunk of my life on conference stages teaching developers the things I wish someone had told me sooner.
Then I spent a decade on climate. In 2020 I co-founded the Green Software Foundation, a non-profit consortium of 70+ organisations building the standards and tooling for software with zero harmful environmental impact, and ran it as Executive Director until 2026. Green software isn't a separate discipline, it's just software that doesn't waste energy. Efficient code, sensible architecture, knowing what your stack actually costs to run. Good engineering and green engineering keep turning out to be the same thing, and that shows up in how I teach.
Now I'm independent, building, writing and teaching full time.
What I believe
- Your job as a developer is to make other people more productive. That's what computing is.
- So if you're not obsessed with your own productivity, it doesn't bode well for the people relying on you.

This course is a wonderful package for learning angularJS and all the features and power it has to offer. However I would like to clearly add that this course is to be taken in slow and steady. The actual contents whizzes at the speed of light and if you are not comfortable with JS you would not feel like you are getting a hang of coding. So one needs to take his time, look and relook at the code in order to get the fullest out of this course! On taking the course a second time, I see topics like $resource, $resourceProvider are skimmed over, could have more detailed explanations.

I would like to make a few points : - 1. It is not for beginners who don't know about AngularJS at all. 2. As I did an Udemy course on AngularJS by Anthony, my concepts became clear but when I started seeing others code, I was not able to get it. That is where this course has helped me a lot. It has cleared many of my doubts by the practical examples. I would say that this course is helpful for those who first take a basic course which deals with the concepts and then take this course to implement your concepts. Regards, Sriram

I've finished the course now after I finished an other course of AngularJS. Since I had very good experience with Asim's courses and I saw he has one for AngularJS I decided to take his course as well just to remind myself everything and learn from the best instructor there is on Udemy (at least from my opnion). Anyways I got to say this course is amazing teaching you everything and Asim explains everything very well. As I mentioned at the start I took this course after I finished another top rated course on AngularJS and this one is far better. Do yourself a favor, if you wanna get into AngularJS and learn literally everything take this course, you won't regret it. For Asim, hope you are reading this, I really love your courses and I just wanna say good job, waiting for your next course already.

I understand this course is intended to be very practical and to show us what could be done in AngularJS; however, I still think there's benefit to be had from a bit more focus on the fundamentals. I often found myself referencing outside sources for a clearer understanding on best practices and the big picture in AngularJS. In short, this course is great for knowing what -could- be done, but not necessarily for what -should- be done, however subjective the latter might be. In any case, I learned a ton from this course and definitely emerged much more knowledgeable in a fairly short amount of time. I would certainly recommend this course.

There is a good ton of information here and it's clear that Asim is a brilliant programmer. However, I feel like some of the JS concepts Asim uses in the course are far more advanced than what I know, so some parts are a bit hard to grasp. Also, it'd help if he didn't cut-and-paste so fast; sometimes it was hard to tell where he was inserting/deleting some code and in which file. That said, I thought this was really good real-life application of AngularJS, especially in that he taught us how to use some third party solutions, like ui-router and Ladda buttons, which is how things happen in the real world.

I learned new skill from this course. I started very slow when I was going through the section 1 and 2 in this course. After I went through the fundamental course and angularJS.org tutorial and developer guide, I was able to follow this course in a 10 times faster speed. I started appreciate this course. My appreciation keep growing as I am going deeper in the course. The material show me the difference between AngularJS methods/algorithm to make the app the same result very clear. I appreciate the instructor put the teaching material together very thoughtfully and nothing even little piece of detail is put there by accident.

I really enjoyed this course, and as a means of jumping right into Angular without too much preamble it is a terrific resource. I recently got my first job working primarily with Angular and while I can't credit this course with getting me the job, I can say that it has provided a great reference point for quite a few things making it easier for me to be productive in my day-to-day duties. Specifically, the section on directives is remarkably useful and provides a great starting point for understanding the concepts of isolate scope, and controllers for directives. Great course, very highly recommended.

Asim explain all topics very well. It's very easy to follow the course and apply all the Asim's suggestions and tricks. The course tackles a lot of aspects of an AngularJs application. I really appreaciate if Asim integrates the last section, the one regarding " How to structure complex AngularJS projects " suggesting the best practise to setup an angularjs project with gulp/grunt and requirejs/browserify and covering also the deploy phase. Congratulations!

Asim projects really well and he is easy to understand when giving instructions. I have been able to rewind and slow down the videos and take down notes either on my own code editor or separately. Whenever there's an issue he replies within 24 hours and you can tell he is passionate about Angular and making sure you are following best practices. I hope there are more courses from Asim. I also bought his Ionic course!

This is the best training I have ever came across online for AngularJS. Approach take by trainer is excellent. He makes us build an application. As the training goes on, our app evolves around the concepts we have learnt. This training will give you confidence to make real time application with angular. Also trainer has uploaded complete exercise for each section, so at any point of time you are stuck, you can open the code and have reference. Thanks udemy and Asim.
