I've finished watching through the videos, but have yet to complete all the exercises. I have them all written down so I can work on them and review the relevant videos when I get to them. I started applying some of the basics to my Spanish and German flashcards to create better imagery, though I am only placing Spanish words into my memory palaces right now since that's my main target language. Still, it has really helped me retain vocabulary a lot better. Even when I dropped the ball and stopped studying my flashcards for a while, I was still able to recall most of the vocabulary in them when I came back. One of the things I found really helpful was creating a memory wheel for the alphabet (based on a clock face) which created an anchor for my memory palaces and increased my ability to remember which place I had selected for each letter. It also helps me a little with my insomnia. Going around my clock forwards and backwards is a little meditative. And another unexpected benefit is I'm much quicker at shelving books at my library now. There are some letters that I don't immediately know where in the alphabet they go without going through the whole alphabet or part of the alphabet to find its location. However, I can find it on my alphabet clock much faster and then just ask myself "who is this letter's friend?" because each station on the clock face has two letters except the top (ABC) and bottom (NOP). Anyway it's very helpful.
