Before learning this course i don't know any thing about kafka streams i am very beginner . This course make me the things easy and gave spoon feeding information. One thing i feel missing is information on REST API . How to use rest api with ksql and some explaination on java client.. Since i am .net developer i expected . But overall this is a greate and awesome course.

Great from-first-principles-to-production course, with an obviously knowledgeable instructor.
Unfortunately fast pace of product development means some outdated parts - but additional course notes cover those.
Highly recommended for someone wanting to start KSQL.

Does not match the version 6.0

By George Ivan on 11/7/2020

Outdated instructions for starting KSQL.

By Sallo Szrajbman on 11/7/2020

There are spaces for improvements (update the versions to the newest ones, better windows support and explanations).

By Ali Ghabraei on 11/7/2020

The course is not in sync with the most recent version of conflunet.
Some concepts could be explained better.

By Richard Fryer on 10/26/2020

More problems than expected with the set-up, and a little problematic downgrading the installed Java version to 1.8/11. There are too many issues caused by the drift between older Kafka versions and the current platform, which results in errors, backtracking and reviewing the current documentation. The course desperately needs to be updated.

Simon Aubry and Stephane Maarek are both phenomenal instructors. Simon was the instructor for this course with a similar structure to Stepane's other courses. Simon made KSQL seem extremely easy as he is just a natural at teaching. With this course, you will learn powerful KSQL concepts that Simon makes super simple to practice and retain. For anyone looking to build upon their Apache Kafka knowledge, I highly recommend learning KSQL and using this course in doing so.

By Satish Kumar Singh on 10/11/2020

It was an amazing experience , but would have been great if comparision of ksql would have been made with other databases
