this is very good course to learn Sparks, where the tutor has explained things in the most understanding manner and cover the important topics in very detail.

This Spark Indepth course is helpful in getting the fundamentals and usage of Spark. Indeed a good course for all Bigdata enthusiasts and learners. Another master class course, to sum it up in one word, superb! I think Harish's course are worth the time and money! The way it starts from fundamentals and goes all the way to advanced topics certainly can take one from novice to an expert. Only suggestion is, please cut or pause the videos where any search is being done, so that the actual core content is present in videos.

I see that throughout the course you just assume that your students always use Windows. Thats not the case always. Please list the steps for MacOS as well while installation. In addition to that I understand that you just uploaded the prior lectures directly to Udemy without bothering to edit/add relevant links/notes as part of that lecture to the notes board. This is something that needs to be addressed immediately.

Very good course. Can learn from beginner to intermediate level, It would be better if explained in any IDE but good course to start on spark

This course is a go to course if you wanna learn Spark with Scala as a programming language, Harish has really structured this course well and he has documented all the code which we can refer every time when we practice. Once we are done with all the learnings of the course we can try building a few projects ourselves for good exposure and get jo ready!! Thanks Harish:)

I'm completely new to Spark and I had taken Oreilly's "Apache Spark with Scala" course prior to taking this course. Oreilly's course was good but the entire practice was on IntelliJ and everything was already set up so I could not understand how the driver node, worker node, hdfs, hive, yarn, etc were playing a role there. But with Harish's course I got the chance to set up everything on my own, learnt a few hdfs commands too, could practice each command in parallel, both on terminal and IntelliJ which has helped me in clearing spark's basic concepts. Also, in every new session Harish did a little revision on the earlier concepts (while we were applying them in our current scenarios) so it was like a quick brush-up on the topics we covered in earlier classes.

Instructor is professional and stick to the point. He has conviction to teach us but not just creating content. This is like a classroom experience. No PPT presentation. you do coding along with his lectures. I wish he do create more content like this
